KUWTK: How Kylie Jenner Is Responding To Kylie Swim Critics

Kylie Jenner is a Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum who recently launched her Kylie Swim brand, and she seems to be addressing negative feedback about her new venture by doing subtle damage control. Fans have noticed the beauty mogul limiting comments and deleting negative feedback about the swimwear collection. Kylie is pregnant with her second child and also launching her Kylie Baby brand, so she may have made some changes to her Instagram to protect her peace. However, spectators think that Kylie is seemingly working behind the scenes to stop the poor reviews from going public on her IG.

After years of beauty mogul success, thanks to the Kylie Cosmetics empire, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum expanded her Kylie imprint with a swimwear line and kids' skincare brand. Kylie Swim and Kylie Baby were released within one month of each other. Both collections came shortly after the relaunch of Kylie Cosmetics. With the pandemic putting a damper on her cosmetics sales, Kylie came back strong in 2021. All the while, she's expecting a baby and doing everything she can to ensure a healthy pregnancy.

Kylie Swim recently came under fire after a few customers went viral with their scathing reviews criticizing the quality of the swimsuits they purchased. MakeUpShayla applauded the design and fit of the swimsuit she purchased but said it was so thin you could see everything. She also said she wouldn't get in the water with the swimsuit because: "Everything would show." While she said the swimsuit was cute, the customer also said she hoped the next Kylie Swim collection would be double-lined for better quality. The swimsuit was $80 and others criticized Kylie for charging so much for swimsuits that were poorly made.

Amid the criticism, Kylie briefly limited her comments section on her personal Instagram page. Fans also feel that the remarks posted on the Kylie Swim page have been filtered to weed out all the negative reviews about the brand. While the Kylie Swim page is currently free of bad reviews, Twitter and TikTok are filled with negative remarks about the brand, so critics likely would leave honest reviews in the comments section on Kylie Swim's Instagram page. As this type of negative feedback is noticeably absent on the Kylie Swim IG grid, it's possible that there's something going on behind the scenes which is centered on protecting the brand's image.

Kylie is focusing on her pregnancy and also promoting her Kylie Baby line. Fans wonder if being so busy with all her ventures meant that she didn't have time to assess the quality of her swimwear line. The Kylie Swim shade comes after Kylie Cosmetics was blasted for its birthday collection. Now, Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans are wondering how involved Kylie really is with her business. Does she only serve as the face of the brand, or is she actually involved with ensuring quality? Once again, Kylie has another business that consumers aren't completely satisfied with. Hopefully, Kylie is taking notes and working to solve the quality issues before releasing another collection.
