Tayshia Adams has made it clear in the past that her family plays a huge part in her journey to find the man of her dreams. As The Bachelorette progresses, fans will see how Tayshia's father feels about this journey she is on to find love.
When Tayshia began her journey, fans were excited to see her finally get her chance to find true love. Tayshia joined the franchise in 2019 for Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor and made it all the way to the top four. She then appeared on Bachelor in Paradise later that summer, where she and John Paul Jones had a fling for most of their time on the show. However, that relationship didn't last long, and the couple soon announced their breakup. Now, Tayshia will hopefully find a man who is her perfect match.
Chris Harrison exclusively revealed to US Weekly that Tayshia's father has quite the opinion regarding some of her relationships on the show. “I will just say this — amazing people, [but] her dad definitely was not shy about expressing his opinion on his daughter in those relationships,” he told the publication. However, Chris did not disagree with her father's point of view. “And look, I get it. I am a father of a daughter and I will be the same way. Probably won’t be on camera. But I’ll be the same way with my daughter.” During a promo for the upcoming episodes, Tayshia's dad can be seen warning her that she is making “the biggest mistake of [her] life” if she goes with a certain man. Her father has always been a guiding light for Tayshia, and his disapproval will make it even more difficult for her to choose the right person.
The host went on to add that the remainder of the show will be similar to the normal format, pre-Clare and Dale drama. Their relationship caused the show to go off script and didn't allow viewers to get to know the other men. "You didn’t get to know, you know, Brendan and Zac and Ben, and even Bennett to a certain degree...some of these other guys that are wonderful that have been blowing up the internet now," Chris explained. “There are some serious strong feelings being formed on both sides. Tayshia is one that was really ready for this and really relished the opportunity.”
Tayshia plans on taking advantage of the whole experience and wants to give every relationship a chance. She has been forming quite a few strong relationships so far, which is likely to cause some drama in the house. While there may be some theatrics, there are also feelings of love developing between Tayshia and some of the contestants. Keeping watching The Bachelorette every week to see who Tayshia's father doesn't like. Hopefully, he will end up loving her final choice just as much as she does.
