10 Love Island UK Cast Members Who Should Have Their Own Spin-off Shows

Over the course of seven seasons so far, ITV's hit reality dating series Love Island UK has featured cast members with some extremely big personalities. Whether they court controversy, foster a polarizing love-them-or hate-them attitude, or are flat out willing to embarrass themselves in the name of cheeky fun, Love Island's most outsized stars have provided the show's best on-air moments.

As such, it's worth considering which Love Island UK contestants would be most apt to parlay their personalities on their own spinoff reality show. Some have already appeared on other reality shows, and now it's worth finding out which deserve to star in their own TV series.

Often considered the funniest Love Island UK cast member of all time, Essex barber Kem Centinay left viewers in stitches during season 3 thanks to his hilarious anatomical euphemisms such as the breadstick, carrot, and celery.

Kem's hysterical British slang was part of the reason he ended up winning the season, although his wildly amusing bromance with Chris Hughes was far more compelling than his romance with Amber Davies. In fact, a whole spinoff show could and should be dedicated to Kem and Chris' budding rap career, one of the funniest subplots of the whole series.

One of the clear breakout stars of season 4, Megan Barton-Hanson entered the villa on day one and stormed her way to a fourth-place finish. The way she broke up another couple on the island by chewing on her finger almost certainly led to her sex and dating column at Vice, which ought to be adapted into an official spinoff series if nothing else.

Moreover, Megan has channeled her star power to a slew of TV shows since Love Island, including Celebs Go Dating, Celeb Ex in the City, CelebAbility, and more. Clearly a bona fide celebrity, the only thing left for Megan is to star in her own series.

As a legitimate actress well before her time on the show, eventual first-place winner Dani Dyer would make an excellent star of her own spinoff TV series. The daughter of famous British actor Danny Dyer, Dani has appeared in the film Heckle, TV series EastEnders, and stars in the upcoming horror movie 031.

In 2021, Dyer has also appeared on The Masked Singer UK and Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, perfectly paving the way to star as herself in a TV transition. Whether a spinoff explores her acting career, life as a famous child actor, or reunion with her partner Jack Fincham, options abound for Dyer moving forward.

Speaking of Jack Fincham, he too would make an ideal star of his own spinoff reality show. Often considered one of the funniest UK cast members, Jack's eminently amusing sense of humor would carry a series a long way on his own.

Between his spot imitations of housemates Booker and Eyal and his hilariously-timed quips throughout the villa, Jack became one of the most lovable and easy-to-watch cast members. Of course, he and Dani patterned up on day one and lasted all the way to the finish line, proving his dedication to delivering top-notch television.

As one of the coolest, funniest, and most suave Love Island cast members, former basketball star Ovie Soko also managed to remain free of the intense drama that defined season 5. Despite being a late entry, Ovie made a lasting impression in a relatively short time before finishing in third place.

Since his time on the show, Ovie has begun his own advice podcast called Ask Ovie, which would be great if it was turned into an official spinoff show. If not, Ovie's recent addition to the Le Mans basketball club in 2020 could easily be the subject of a sports-related spinoff.

The phrase "big things come in small packages" can be accurately applied to Marua Higgins on Love Island UK sesason 5, easily one of the fiercest, funniest, and most charismatic cast members in series history. After trying to steal Tommy away from Molly-Mae, Maura set her sights on Curtis and eventually stole him away from Amy.

Due to her luminous star power, Maura has made several appearances on various reality TV shows such as Loose Women, Dancing on Ice, and others, giving her the requisite experience to now headlining her own spinoff series.

Professional dancer Curtis Pritchard became the de facto den father of the villa on Love Island season 5, showing such a warm and welcoming demeanor that the whole cast gravitated to as a sage advisor. His bromance with Tommy provided endless entertainment, as did his combustible kinship with Maura after leaving Amy. Affable, easygoing, and genuinely hilarious, Curtis needs his own show ASAP.

Producers must have also seen the star power in Curtis while watching the show, as he has recently been cast in the 2021 TV series Hollyoaks, where he is set to make his acting debut as a character named Jacob.

In nearly every poll taken regarding the all-time best Love Island contestants, season 5 winner Amber Gill almost always tops the list. As the only solo winner in show history by keeping the money for herself, Amber fuses high-glamour with blunt honesty in the most refreshing ways imaginable. If she starred in her own spinoff show, who wouldn't watch?

Since her time on Love Island, Amber has been asked to appear on Loose Women, Celebrity Mastermind, the talk show Lorraine, and others, she has never been the center of attention on any of them. That needs to change stat, as few Love Island cast members ever left viewers wanting more even after winning the competition. She's also one of the most popular Love Island stars on Instagram.

The younger-half brother of current Heavy Weight Champion of the world, Tyson Fury, professional boxer Tommy Fury has the perfect pedigree to star in his own reality show. The Love Island season 5 runner-up proved what a dashing charm and magnetic personality he has, which has already been featured on such shows as Loose Women and Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King.

Tommy even starred in the short-lived web series The Boxer and the Ballroom Dancer, which focused on the bromance he forged with Love Island housemate Curtis Pritchard. It's now time for Tommy to get his very own TV series.

If Tommy Fury does get a spinoff series one day, it will almost certainly feature his main squeeze and fellow Love Island runner-up, the ultra-fabulous Molly-Mae Hague. And even if it didn't, Molly-Mae's huge following as a social media influencer would surely attract tons of viewers to her own spinoff show.

In addition to her hilarious high-maintenance persona that continued to provide entertainment on the reality dating show, Molly has launched her own cosmetic line and was recently named the UK creative director of the PrettyLittleThing clothing brand. With that sort of tastemaking status, the next logical step would be to advertise for her brand via a spinoff show.
