"The Invisible Burglar" side case in Lost Judgment is tricky, and players will need to draw the right conclusion to beat it. Lost Judgment has a total of 42 side cases for players to solve, and some of them can get very complicated. The diverse side cases in Lost Judgment include finding a lost time capsule and tracking down a seemingly invisible burglar.
Side cases provide players a variety of useful rewards, like gear that can enhance combat and SP for ability upgrades in Lost Judgment. Side cases will become essential to progressing in the game and being able to defeat some of Yagami's more difficult enemies. Completing these cases and claiming the rewards can be as simple as defeating a single enemy, or more complex, like locating missing Kappa statues that are scattered around Yokohama.
"The Invisible Burglar" side case won't be available until players reach Chapter 3. After that, there is a specific spot Yagami needs to visit to overhear a keyword and begin the quest. This side case involves examining different objects as well as speaking to certain people in order to determine where the burglar could be. Drawing the right conclusion and choosing how to draw out the burglar will complete the quest and give players a reward.

Similar to the side case in which Yagami must find UFOs in Lost Judgment, "The Invisible Burglar" will start out with a new keyword. The first step is to travel to the Champion District, where Yagami will be able to overhear a conversation between two women in the empty backlot. Players can use the Buzz Researcher to search the keyword "stalker," then head to Senryo Avenue. Yagami must talk to the man on the corner to learn he's looking for a burglar in his building across the street.
Players will want to speak to the man a second time so Yagami can investigate further. Once inside, there will be many objects to investigate before a conclusion can be drawn. Players should make sure to examine the safe, sword, empty snack items, floor, bug bombs, fridge, and mysterious handprint on the ceiling, and finally, they should use the Noise Amp on the ceiling as well. Once all the evidence is gathered, Yagami can solve the case. For the dialogue option, choose, "They're still up in the attic," then draw the burglar out with the roach exterminator. Once he emerges, the case will be closed.
Completing "The Invisible Burglar" will award players 180,000 yen, 5,000 SP, and the Provocateur Extract Recipe. Although this case can be tricky to investigate, the reward is worth the effort.
Lost Judgment is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
