The Real Housewives Of Orange County: The 8 Most Forgotten Housewives

While fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County have their favorite cast members, there are many women who have come and gone over the years. These housewives aren't that memorable for a few different reasons, mostly that their storylines weren't that dramatic and their personalities not as vibrant as those around them.

With a show like RHOC that is getting ready for season 16, there have been a lot of cast members who have lasted for one season or just a handful, and they haven't made as big an impact as stars like Tamra Judge, Vicki Gunvalson, and Shannon Beador. From some housewives who appeared in season 1 to more recent seasons, these RHOC cast members just didn't stand out much.

8 Jo De La Rosa

Jo De La Rosa was an early RHOC cast member, and her time on the series wasn't all that memorable. When looking back, fans might recall that she was engaged to Slade Smiley, who has appeared on the series several times because of his relationship with cast member Gretchen Rossi.

Besides being upset over not wanting to be the housewife that Slade wished that she would be, Jo didn't have many storylines. The couple fought because she was interested in starting a career for herself and he wanted her to take care of his kids and the home. The arguments were fairly mild, though, and they didn't compare to some of the most dramatic RHOC storylines. Jo was like Bethenny Frankel in these early seasons: not a traditional housewife as she was looking to hustle and work hard. It would have been great if the show could have explored that side of Jo more.

7 Tammy Knickerbocker

Tammy joined RHOC in season 2 and her storyline was all about her relationship with her ex-partner Duff and raising her two daughters. In one episode, some teens from the neighborhood modeled for a sports drink ad for Duff's company, which suggested some co-parenting between Tammy and Duff. For the most part, though, Duff's time on the show didn't seem totally necessary as he and Tammy were no longer together.

When Tammy's house was ruined in a flood, she went house-hunting, which seems a bit dull when fans think about some of the most epic and intense plotlines over the seasons. It was hard to connect with Tammy, making her one of the most forgotten members of this cast, and she was replaced by more interesting cast members.

6 Lynne Curtin

Lynne joined the cast in season 4 along with Gretchen Rossi. Lynne is a mom of two daughters but since the other housewives have children as well, she didn't stand out all that much, and she didn't seem to be really close friends with anyone else, either.

Unlike Gretchen, who had lots of drama with fellow housewives Tamra and Alexis and whose relationship with Slade kept viewers invested, Lynne didn't really do much on the show. It's tough to remember any of her storylines, besides her season 5 eviction notice, which did create some drama but wasn't enough to make her among the best cast members in the Real Housewives franchise. If a cast member is going to last for several seasons, fans expect them to have some lasting friendships, not be afraid to argue, and have a compelling hook like a cool career or great sense of humor.

5 Quinn Fry

Quinn Fry was an RHOC cast member in season 3 and the main focus was on her dating life and religion. Viewers saw her with her then-partner Billy, but their relationship fell flat onscreen. Viewers have seen many housewives enter the dating scene over the years, from Bethenny Frankel to Kelly Dodd, and Quinn didn't share enough of her life to really make an impact.

While Tamra had a fascinating love life, as she told Simon that she wanted a divorce in an iconic limo scene and then fell in love with Eddie, Quinn didn't seem to have much of a reason to be on reality television. While she was perfectly nice, her personality didn't stick out on camera. Fans are definitely looking for a more dynamic person to join the cast of this reality show.

4 Kimberly Bryant

Kimberly Bryant was a single-season Real Housewives cast member, and fans met her in season 1 along with Vicki Gunvalson, Lauri Peterson, Jeana Keough, and Jo De La Rosa. It's easy to forget Kimberly when comparing her to Vicki and Lauri since, of course, Vicki remained on the series for 14 seasons and Lauri returned to spread a rumor about Vicki's sex life.

Looking back on Kimberly's storylines, it's clear why she didn't continue her run as a housewife. In one episode, she thought about buying a new, better car, and in another, she wanted to get breast implants. When compared to later storylines, like Vicki's boyfriend Brooks's lying about cancer and Tamra and Kelly fighting over whether Tamra was allowed to see her children, Kimberly's plotlines just didn't shine.

3 Peggy Tanous

Peggy was a cast member for season 6 only, and she and Alexis fought because Peggy used to date Alexis's then-husband Jim. While both parties were hurt, this wasn't one of the more intense fights on the show, and it didn't really stay in fans' minds. It also didn't seem like a huge deal since, in an area like Orange County, everyone knows everyone, so it seemed only logical that Jim might have a romantic history with one of the housewives.

Peggy's other storyline involved going to a plastic surgeon, but many housewives have gotten plastic surgery and then filmed their recovery processes. Peggy appeared in the season 7 premiere and then that was all that fans saw of her, and it made sense that she was one of the housewives who didn't stick around.

2 Lizzie Rovsek

Lizzie threw herself a birthday party that almost no one came to, which became an underrated scene on RHOC, but it's hard to remember much else about her. Lizzie was a full-time cast member in season 9 and a "friend" in season 10 and then she said goodbye to the reality series, although she visited her friend Emily Simpson on the show more recently as they worked on a swimsuit collection together.

Sometimes a newcomer just doesn't do well with the existing friend group and that seems to be what happened with Lizzie. She didn't seem much different from the others who were already part of the cast, as she was married, living a fabulous life, and a mother of two children. That might be the reason why Lizzie didn't come back.

1 Peggy Sulahian

Peggy Sulahian only appeared on season 12 of RHOC and since her time on the reality series was so confusing, she can definitely be considered a forgotten housewife. In some episodes, Peggy suggested that she had breast cancer, and in others, it seemed like she said it was just a scare. According to Bravotv.com, Peggy later explained that she had a cancerous growth and that she had a double mastectomy to make sure that everything would be okay.

Peggy also didn't seem eager to get along with her co-stars and besides having a connection with Lydia McLaughlin, she seemed a bit uncomfortable on the show. Fans wanted to know more about her, especially since her scenes with her family were always heartwarming, as her daughters were ready to go to college. Despite that nice storyline, though, it made sense that Peggy didn't come back for season 13.
