Fans of Jersey Shore are curious about Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola's relationship with Christian Biscardi, and we're here to map out their relationship timeline. Sammi's relationship with Ronnie came to a messy end in 2014. On the show's spinoff series Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Ronnie revealed that he had cheated on Sammi. This ultimately led to the couple's final breakup. Three years later, in 2017, Sammi began dating Christian.
It is unclear how they met and exactly when Sammi began dating him. However, according to Elite Daily, Sammi posted her first photo alongside Christian on April 27, 2017. This was the first time that Sammi went public with a guy since she broke up with Ronnie. Sammi did not say much about her new relationship but it was quite clear that the couple had strong feelings for each other. That following summer, Sammi admitted to being in love with Christian in a romantic beach photo shared to her @sammisweetheart Instagram.
Within one year of dating, Sammi and Christian began making some big moves. They started a business together, The Strength Spot, which was an online supplement store. Later on, they started a YouTube channel together, calling it Sam and Christian TV. They soon began posting videos of vacations and date nights. They even took fans along as they cooked dinner in their kitchen. Nearly one year after Sammi and Christian began dating, Sammi took to Instagram again, to inform fans that she would not be reuniting with her former roomies for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. As the Jersey Shore cast was busy preparing for the premiere of their spinoff series, Sammi had her hands full with a major life milestone. Christian proposed to Sammi on the beach in March of 2019, almost two years after they began dating. She made the announcement on Instagram on March 5, 2019, sharing a photo of Christian down on one knee with the ocean behind him. At the time, she described it as the "best day of her life." The couple soon began planning for their wedding day. They initially hoped to tie the knot in 2020; however, they have had to postpone the wedding numerous times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
