90 Day Fiancé: Times When Asuelu Pulaa Seemed To Disrespect Kalani

Asuelu Pulaa and Kalani Faagata have been through a lot in their marriage, and it has been well documented on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? in the past. Things got so bad in their relationship that Kalani has contemplated divorce multiple times throughout their relationship. But the pair have always managed to resolve their issues and stay together for their two boys. The couple has had a few blowouts over the course of their relationship, with Asuelu taking it too far at times and disrespecting his wife, Kalani.

Relationships can be hard, and Kalani and Asuelu have shown that. In the beginning, Kalani said she couldn’t imagine a world without Asuelu, but in a recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Kalani met with a lawyer to discuss her options for divorce. While viewers were not certain if Kalani and Asuelu would last, considering their relationship was a summer romance, they have tried their best. They may have different views when it comes to family and their relationship, but Asuelu and Kalani try their best to be good parents for their boys, and that is commendable.

When the couple fought on-screen, there were times when fans felt that Asuelu had taken it too far. For example, Asuelu told Kalani her job being a mother in America is “easy”. Kalani was not happy about this. He then went on to praise women in Samoa, saying they have a harder time than women in America. They commenced to fight about this, and the disrespect was not over as he proceeded to call her a “lying b**ch” in front of her mom.

This was not the only time viewers saw Asuelu being disrespectful. When the pandemic became serious, Kalani kept telling Asuelu to not leave the house due to Covid-19 for any unnecessary activity, but he would not listen and kept leaving to play volleyball without a mask on. Asuelu and Kalani's relationship has experienced countless ups and downs, but the worst could be when he did not defend Kalani in front of his sister and mother.

The couple has experienced a lot through the course of their short relationship, but if their relationship is anything to go by from the recent season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Asuelu is trying to be better for his family. While they still have a long way to go before they are back to where they used to be, at least they are trying. Relationships are difficult, and love is messy, but the two seem devoted to being in a solid marriage.
