90 Day Fiance: The Show's Most Romantic Moments Ranked

Many people associate the 90 Day Fiancé franchise with drama and fights, but the international romance franchise has also featured some sweet and heartwarming moments. Despite the current season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? straying from its original premise, some of the featured couples have been involved in genuine moments that showcased real love and affection.

Viewers have recently been calling for the franchise to return to its original premise. Before it started featuring plastic surgery plot lines and singles looking for love, the 90 Day Fiancé franchise offered a real look at the K-1 visa process. International romance blossomed between Americans and people from other nations. This led their partners to obtain fiancé visas. After a K-1 visa is obtained, a foreign person must marry their partner within a 90-day period. Many viewers appreciate the premise of the franchise and want to see it return to its roots, by featuring more genuine romances. Now, it's time to rank the romantic moments, from the least romantic to the very sweetest.

At number seven, at the bottom of the rankings, we have Angela's engagement party with Michael. Angela Deem has a lot of flaws, especially when it comes to her relationship with Michael Ilesanmi. The grandmother has lost viewer support this season due to being accused of verbal abuse and controlling behavior. However, one thing that the American did get right was her willingness to embrace her partner’s culture. Many American partners ignore their spouse’s culture, but Angela embraced Michael’s Nigerian roots at their engagement party. After Michael’s family organized an engagement ceremony for the couple, Angela arrived at the event in traditional Nigerian clothes. Angela’s respect for Michael’s culture was a heartwarming moment between the couple. The scene also demonstrated a sweet moment between Angela and her in-laws.

At number six are Alexei Brovarnik and Loren Brovarnik. They might get on some viewers' nerves due to Loren's bad attitude, but the couple appears to be genuinely in love. The season 3 couple showcased one of the most genuine and heartfelt romances. One of the sweetest moments between the couple occurred when Loren opened up about her Tourette's syndrome to Alexei and his parents. Though the American was shaking as she discussed her condition, Alexei and his parents proved to be heartwarmingly accepting. "Alexei loves you and we love you however you are," his parents told her. Though the couple doesn't always have a straightforward romance, the way that Alexei and his parents supported Loren emotionally was one of the franchise's most genuine and sweet moments.

At number five are Steven Frend and Olga Koshimbetova. Steven originally angered viewers with his immaturity, but Olga's partner showed growth as he evolved and embraced fatherhood. Steven and Olga were both twenty when they discovered that their summer romance had resulted in an unexpected pregnancy. Russian sweetheart Olga, who has a heartbreaking backstory, was immediately liked by fans due to her kind nature. Steven proved to be surprisingly sweet as well during an episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined. Though the American had spent the day working as a delivery driver, he went out of his way to make Olga feel appreciated for staying home and caring for their son, Richie. The father stayed up late, setting up a special at-home date night for his partner so that she knew she was loved and valued.

At number four, we have Matt Ryan and Alla Fedoruk. The backstory between the season 4 couple Matt and Alla is easily one of the most romantic in the franchise. Fans have celebrated the couple's divorcees-in-love backstory and were thrilled to recently learn that sometimes-underrated cast member Alla and her son became American citizens. The American and Ukrainian couple originally met several years before the show on a dating service. They lost touch after Matt married for the third time, but ended up reconnecting after Matt and Alla divorced their partners. Many viewers thought it was romantic how the couple found their way back to each other and loved the way that Matt embraced Alla’s son Max as his own. The couple currently shares an infant daughter, Emmalyn. They are a happy family of four.

At number three, we have Kyle Huckabee and Bajaree Boonma (known as Noon). They are from season 3 and may not get as much attention from fans as they deserve. The duo presented a sweet and genuine relationship that was devoid of much of the franchise’s typical drama. Viewers witnessed real love when American Kyle got emotional while greeting his Thai partner Noon at the airport. He began crying. The moment was made even sweeter by the couple’s relationship, which demonstrated that their romance was real. Noon went on to help Kyle reconnect with his estranged mother, showing the healing effects of real love.

At number two in the rankings, we have season 7 couple Mursel Mistanoglu and Anna Campisi. They left viewers on the edge of their seats when it came to whether or not they could overcome their obstacles and marry. Fortunately, the duo did wed in a wonderful and intimate ceremony. Their backyard wedding revealed Mursel getting emotional when he saw his bride in her wedding dress for the first time. The couple shared one of the sweetest moments in the franchise when Mursel tied a red bow around his new bride, as per Turkish tradition. The couple earned extra cuteness points for the sweet way that Mursel bonded with Anna’s children. Many fans have called for genuine couples such as the duo to return to the franchise.

The number one-ranked romantic moment in the franchise wasn’t even aired on TLC, but it did occur between a franchise couple that many fans adore. Armando Rubio and Kenneth Niedermeier made history for being the first male gay couple featured in the franchise. The two men's love story is heartwarming. Kenny supported Armando when he came out to his conservative Mexican family. The beloved couple, who currently provide commentary on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show Pillow Talk, melted the hearts of fans with their recent nuptials. The two men had a beautiful winery wedding that left many franchise fans celebrating their true love.
