Schitt's Creek: 10 BTS Photos Of The Cast | ScreenRant

After six seasons of Schitt's Creek, fans are missing the sweet Canadian sitcom. The more episodes fans watch, the more details they notice in the background, which really round out the series. From a consistency standpoint, Schitt's Creek did a fantastic job with storylines and backgrounds. Nevertheless, fans want more.

Thanks to social media, the beloved actors and creators of Schitt's Creek have posted some behind-the-scenes memories to their Instagram pages. These magical moments show how incredible the relationships between the actors, writers, and crew really are, and how much fun was had. From Dan Levy (David Rose) to Annie Murphy (Alexis Rose), the cast of Schitt's Creek appear as close as their characters were.

10 The Roses & Stevie Are the Ultimate Trio

David, Alexis, and Stevie became a family by season 6. In season 1, Stevie judged the Roses for being fish out of water in Schitt's Creek but soon grew to love them. David became her best friend and Johnny became the father figure she always needed. It was poetry the way that the Roses needed Stevie and vice versa. Seeing Annie, David, and Emily (Stevie Budd) hug it out behind the scenes is endearing for fans.

9 Patrick & David Fans Unite!

In "The M.V.P.," Cafe Tropical and Bob's Garage goes head to head in a community baseball game. David is not an athletic guy and had no interest in partaking in the event, but was forced to when Cafe Tropical needed an extra person. With Johnny Rose playing on the opposing team, he loved the father-son aspect of the game.

Seeing David in the outfield in his uniform and white sunglasses was a sight to behold. It was also one of the most wholesome moments of the show when David did well. Seeing Dan and Noah (Patrick Brewer) hugging it out before shooting brings fans right back to that championship game.

8 Jazzagals Post Rehersal

The Jazzagals were first introduced in season 2. After Moira realized she was staying in Schitt's Creek longer than anticipated, she auditioned for the group and was happy to be a part of something that distracted her. Over the course of the series, Moira began directing the a capella group once Jocelyn became overwhelmed with her newborn. It was one of those hobbies that brought light to Moira's dark days. With Catherine O'Hara (Moira), Sarah Levy (Twyla), and Jennifer Robertson (Jocelyn Schitt) smiling on set, it brings fans back to Jazzagals rehearsal days.

7 Brother & Sister Pizza

The reason why David and Alexis are so electric on screen is because of their amazing chemistry off-camera. Both Dan and Annie's social media pages are covered with personal photos of them being silly off-set.

It's doubtful that David and Alexis would have this much fun eating pizza together in their motel room, but viewers did see a similar moment when the two dove into cinnamon buns from Ivan for the motel's continental breakfast.

6 Together For A Purpose

In 2018, a bus transporting junior hockey players from the Humboldt Broncos got into a fatal accident where 16 players, coaches, and staff were killed. Thirteen people survived the crash but the accident shook Canada and the hockey world. Since the accident, the country and its hockey community have gone on to remember the players and the survivors. Pictured above, the cast of Schitt's Creek paid tribute by wearing hockey jerseys in remembrance.

5 Dan Levy: The Man Who Does It All

Dan Levy didn't just star as David Rose on the series; he also created, wrote, produced, and directed. The season 6 episode, "Smoke Signals," was the first episode that Dan Levy directed on his own. In the episode, David and Patrick go to look at a possible wedding venue with Alexis and Stevie. Meanwhile, Johnny and Moira spend the day playing hooky after Moira has an upsetting revelation about her career.

4 "Love That Journey For Me!"

Alexis saying "Love that journey for me" in the first season after Stevie invites her to a tailgate is one of her most memorable quotes. So much so that Karen Robinson (Ronnie) made it the theme of this Instagram shot.

After filming the series finale, Karen posted a series of behind-the-scenes moments that could bring a tear to any fan's eye. Ronnie was such an underrated character with some of the best lines in the series. She was an important part of the Jazzagals and she was a one-woman show who worked in construction, was a member of Town Council, and a member of the Women's Business Association.

3 A Memorable Day Turkey Shooting

In season 1, David did something he had never done before: he went hunting. Every year, townspeople like Roland, Stevie, and Ronnie went turkey shooting in the woods. David wasn't a hunter or a person who enjoyed the outdoors, which is what made the episode hilarious. Watching him walk through the woods in camo was most likely Stevie's top three favorite moments with David.

2 The End Of An Era

Jennifer Robertson plays Jocelyn Schitt. She quickly became one of Moira's dearest friends even though the two had their rocky moments. Moira stepped on Jocelyn's toes quite often and insulted her hometown more than once, but the two women learned a lot from each other.

Moira and Jocelyn became so close that Jocelyn chose the name Moira as her second child's middle name. And thanks to this picture, it looks like Catherine O'Hara wasn't the only person Jennifer was close with. This shot was taken on their final day of filming with all the actors smiling with gratitude.

1 The Dad Of All Dads: Johnny Rose

Johnny Rose was the glue that held the Rose family together. He was level-headed and the most responsible compared to his wife and kids. He also became a father figure for Stevie. Without Johnny, Stevie would be at a loss regarding the motel. She wouldn't have a clear idea of the direction she wanted to go on in life.

Although Eugene Levy doesn't have an Instagram account, Annie Murphy posted this sweet birthday tribute to her on-screen dad. It looks like the cast is in the eating area and Eugene is walking away with leftovers while Annie snapped a picture of him on his way out. It looks like their tight bond wasn't just on-screen.
