It has been 13 years since Shanna Moakler and Travis Barker were a couple, but their relationship drama is still carrying over into modern times after daughter Alabama revealed Shann's accusations against the Blink 182 drummer. According to Shanna, she divorced Travis after she caught him having an affair with Kim Kardashian. But insiders say her claims against the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star are all wrong.
Shanna has been out for vengeance in recent weeks after blasting Travis and Kourtney Kardashian's PDA as "weird". She accused her ex-husband of doing similar things for her in the past and allegedly found it "hurtful" that her ex was seemingly doing the same for someone else. Most recently, she uploaded a video that showed her getting a tattoo of Travis's name removed from her wrist after she claims he removed her initials off him with "purpose and intent" while Kourtney "lovingly looked on." All the while, her teenage kids have been publicly bashing their mom and telling fans she has been an absentee parent. But her daughter, Alabama Barker, took things further by revealing a nasty comment her mother left on social media.
Over the weekend, Alabama shared a lengthy message her mother wrote in response to one of her followers. In the statement, Shanna reveals why she decided to divorce Travis, saying she left the "money and mansions" because "he was emotionally abusive," as captured by Page Six. "Travis controls Bamas social media. However, I get blamed for her sexualization," she continued. "How does a father allow her to act like that and do lives at 4am with men twice her age." While putting the comment on blast on her Instagram Story, Alabama also shared a DM her mother allegedly sent saying, “I divorced Travis because I caught him having an affair with Kim! Now he’s in love with her sister…It’s all gross…I’m not the bad guy!”
However, an insider reached out to the outlet to deny her claims and blast her for dragging newly single Kim into the drama. “Travis and Kim have never had a romantic relationship,” a close source said. “They were friends who met through Paris Hilton and that is also how Kourtney and Travis were introduced.” Another insider said “it’s a shame" for Shanna to include Kim in her gripes with Travis and Kourtney, considering her recent divorce. "She is clearly bitter her ex is happy and has moved on,” the other source said. “It’s extremely hurtful to her kids how she is behaving. Hopefully, she gets the help that she needs and can eventually find happiness.”
Years ago, Travis admitted to meeting Kim through Paris and shared his initial attraction to the SKIMS founder. But insiders now say the rock star was just joking and has always had eyes for Kourtney. "Anyone who is close to them has always known that Travis has been in love with Kourtney for forever [not Kim],” the insider added. “They are madly in love and best of friends. Everyone in their circle couldn’t be happier for them.” Everyone except Shanna and Kourtney's ex Scott Disick, that is. It looks like the family drama is only getting worse.
