RHOBH: Garcelle Beauvais Says 'A Few People’ Tested Positive For Covid On The Set

It was recently revealed that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills had their production shut down after a member of the crew tested positive for coronavirus. Now, amid the halt on filming, housewife Garcelle Beauvais is revealing that "a few people" actually tested positive.

Garcelle is known for being one of the more outspoken and transparent ladies on the show. In addition to being one of the newer housewives, she also works as a co-host on the daytime talk show The Real. With her growing reputation for not being afraid to talk about things other housewives tend to keep private, it's not too much of a shocker that she'd be the first cast member to reveal what's really going on behind the scenes. Just two weeks ago it was revealed the filming for season 11 was put on pause due to exposure to Covid-19. Last week, Kyle Richards hinted at "not feeling well" and being too sick to cook her family Thanksgiving dinner. Now, Garcelle might be hinting that it wasn't just a crew member who caught Covid, it could also be members of the cast.

Garcelle revealed Monday to her co-hosts on The Real, "We shot for Housewives on Tuesday, Tuesday night we got home and found out that a few people in our crew tested positive for COVID,” (via Entertainment Tonight.) She went on to explain how the RHOBH cast went into a 14-day quarantine and that her 13-year-old twins, Jaid and Jax, went to stay with her ex-husband, Mike Nilon. “Hopefully everybody will be healthy, and we’re down for a few weeks, but then we’ll be back to work,” she shared. While fans speculated about if Kyle Richards was one of the few who tested positive considering how sick she said she was last week, the OG housewife was recently spotted out shopping.

She was photographed on Monday afternoon enjoying a day of shopping at the Beverly Glen Center. It comes after she hinted at her mystery illness last week. At the time, she thanked recently terminated housewife Teddi Mellencamp for bringing over a Thanksgiving meal for her family as she was too sick to cook herself.

However, considering her shopping day on Monday, it appears Kyle is feeling better. Filming is reportedly expected to resume after the new year. Garcelle and Kyle are returning along with Erika Jayne, Lisa Rinna, and Dorit Kemsley. New housewife Crystal Kung Minkoff is joining along with Kyle's sister Kathy Hilton who is coming on as a friend.
