Current Dancing with the Stars contestant Kaitlyn Bristowe and her longtime boyfriend, Jason Tartick, celebrated her perfect 30 score over FaceTime.
Kaitlyn first came into fame when she appeared as a contestant on the reality dating show, The Bachelor. Shortly after getting sent home, Kaitlyn was announced as the next Bachelorette. She became engaged to Shawn Booth, but the relationship eventually ended in 2018 after more than three years together. About a year after her broken engagement she and Jason, who was a contestant on Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette, began dating and the couple have been together ever since.
Jason took to Instagram to congratulate his girlfriend on receiving a perfect 30 score on last nights DWTS. “You fought, battled, and grinded with class and you freakin did it!” the 32 year old said of Kaitlyn. “10’s across the board! Let’s goo!!!” The post was a screenshot of a FaceTime conversation between the couple with Kaitlyn cheering in her same dancing outfit, while Jason looked to be fist pumping. The reality star danced to Britney Spears' "Toxic," while performing their Argentine tango routine for Icons night with her partner Artem Chigvintsev. Later that night, Kaitlyn spoke with Us Weekly about her FaceTime conversation with her beau. She admitted that she was “concerned about the veins popping out of [Tartick’s] neck and head.” The reality star gushed about how excited Jason was for her he could hardly contain himself. AT one point, Kaitlyn had to remind him they have neighbors because he was cheering so loudly.
Judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who was harsh on Kaitlyn's previous dance, praised her for the perfect routine this week. The judge even gave the two a standing ovation once the dance was finished. "That was incredible. We push you because we want you to reach your ultimate,” Inaba proudly told the pair. “Every line was amazing. Every lift. … Everything about it was amazing. Everything that we’ve been wanting from you was in this routine.” It seems Inaba's hard critiques lit a fire under Kaitlyn that allowed her to perform her dance without a flaw. After the judge spoke, Kaitlyn and Artem ran to Inaba to give her a hug after praising their dance. While Kaitlyn may have been hurt by Inaba's previous comments she knows they came from a place of love and not cruelty. The podcast host realizes the hard work one needs to put in to compete and is clearly giving the show everything she has inside.
Congratulations to Kaitlyn and Artem on their first perfect score of the season. Hopefully there are many more to come!
