Teresa and Joe Guidice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey have finalized their divorce after 20 years of marriage. The couple is happy to be putting their past behind them.
Teresa Giudice is best known as the table-flipping diva of the New Jersey housewives. She and Joe Giudice were married for 20 years after dating as childhood sweethearts. After Joe got in trouble with the United States government for tax evasion and spent some time behind bars, he was released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement and immediately deported to his home country, Italy. The sudden change obviously took a toll on his marriage. Towards the end of the year, Joe and Teresa sat down for a tell-all interview, where they opened up about the state of their marriage to Andy Cohen. In the interview, they announced that they decided to go their separate ways.
Teresa has already gotten rid of her marital bed during an extreme home makeover. The reality star is looking to move on to bigger and better things, which included finalizing her divorce from Joe. US Weekly reported that the couple is "supporting each other 100 percent as they each pursue their happiness." Right now, their main focus is on their four daughters, Gia, 19, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10.
Teresa also decided to make even more big changes by putting the family home she shared with Joe up for sale. The 48-year-old's listing will go live on September 3. The house boasts six bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. The mansion is located in Montville, New Jersey, and is 10,000 square feet – a bit too much for a single mother to keep tidy. The mansion also has a formal living room and dining room with a wine cellar where Joe made all his homemade wines. Fans learned that Teresa decided to put the property up for sale after she had a designer come in to give it a fresh new look. The mother of four was said to have bought new furniture and fresh curtains to spruce up the place.
The Bravo personality is more than ready to move on with her life. She revealed back in December that she did not hold back while filming the newest season, and fans may even get a chance to see her flirt. Fans are thrilled for their favorite housewife and hope she finds a new love soon, so they can watch the story play out on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
