The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Erika came out swinging at Denise's husband during Wednesday's episode. The singer did not appreciate how Aaron spoke to the group of women.
Erika Jayne has been a hard nut to crack since showing up in the 90210 zip code. The franchise follows the ultra-filthy rich around the stores of Beverly Hills that offers a sprinkling of drama, to say the least. Erika Jayne, in particular, has shown fans she is no gold digger and she can happily work for her own money as her hits take over the charts. Scenes that have included Erika Jayne so far has been intense as the cameras keep catching her facial reactions. While the other women are becoming embroiled in their own drama as so far Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley are feuding over who is the better designer while fans brace for the storm that is Denise Richards.
The ladies are back from their long hiatus and while Wednesday’s episode was a bit boring, Erika made sure to bring the heat during the last 15 minutes of the show. Fans will recall that during the last episode, Aaron Phypers, made himself look bad by putting the other women down during a get-together. It was obvious that Aaron had not been educated on the #MeToo movement as he came off as an aggressive man who wanted to be right. The conversation did not sit well with the Broadway star. Erika felt that Aaron never let Denise speak or explain her side since he is always cutting her off. During Sutton Stracke’s event, Erika wasted no time in confronting him.
Kyle, Teddi Mellencamp-Arroyave, and Dorit were apprehensive to see Denise and Aaron. But Erika was on a mission to let Aaron know she did not appreciate how he spoke to them at Kyle's. Immediately upon Denise and Aaron’s arrival Erika said to Aaron, “You let us have it, you told us we were bad people and that we should look in the mirror and are we happy with ourselves." Aaron made a note that he was just making observations when they were at Kyle’s house, but the singer quickly interjected to let him know all the women felt he had talked down to them saying, "You don't think you were mansplaining to us at her house?” While Erika was letting him have it, Denise returned only to grab her husband’s hand so they could once again storm out.
Next week’s episode showed Brandi Glanville finally making her appearance and Denise uncomfortable with it. Denise has been the center of most of the fights during this new season. Fans do not believe that Erika was wrong in how she felt. Aaron had come across heated and insensitive. Bravo viewers do not believe he should have ever interjected himself into the women’s discussion.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 9pm EST on Bravo.
