Amanza Smith, 43, and Heather Rae Young, 32 from Selling Sunset are seemingly working out their differences after a feud during their Season 2 appearance. The former made remarks about the latter's boyfriend that were less than flattering, and these remarks bothered Young. After a bumpy relationship throughout the show's sophomore season, it seems that these two now may now be bonding over something special.
What kicked off the dramatic feud between these two Selling Sunset reality TV stars was Smith's comment about Young's boyfriend, Tarek El Moussa, another famous reality show television star. Smith stated that Moussa had introduced his children to Young far too soon in their relationship, saying, "It terrifies me how fast you have met those kids. Because when and if something doesn't work out, their hearts are crushed."Worst off, the two of them apparently had an even harsher dynamic when the Selling Sunset cameras weren't rolling.
Smith spoke with Page Six about the incident, now stating that the two are speaking more civil. The two of them have been having very motherly discussions, involving potential playdates between their daughters. Young's new stepdaughter is around the same age as Smith's daughter, allowing the two mothers to find common ground, such as their "go, go, go" energy and lack of sleep. According to Smith, Young even complimented the single mother on her ability to raise her daughter on her own, something she doesn't do with Moussa's kid, as he also shares them with his ex-wife Christina Anstead.
We'll see more of these family dynamics when Selling Sunset season 3 comes out in August. Smith spoke about how hard it was to film it. She said that there were a lot of emotions in the room. The directors and producers (and even those behind the camera) got teary-eyed while she spoke about her kids, whom she didn't see as much during the quarantine. Smith said that seeing all the changes in their lives on camera is going to be "weird"... and that she is not necessarily looking forward to it.
We'll get to see just how their newly forged friendship plays out in the new season. The new season has not been affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. What we know is that Young has moved in with Moussa. They have a Newport Beach, California home that is brand-new. Christine Quinn shared that she suffered from COVID-19 symptoms recently, and her wedding to Christian Richard will apparently take center stage for much of the season. As far as any potential playdates and motherly hangouts, we'll have to see when the new season of Selling Sunset drops. Selling Sunset season 3 premieres on Netflix on Aug. 7.
