The Bachelor: Every First Impression Rose Winner Who Also Won The Season

The first impression rose on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette is one of the most coveted roses and highest honors a contestant can receive. By being offered this rose, they are instantly safe from the first rose ceremony and have caught the lead's eye in a way that none of the others have.

Over the course of 25 seasons of The Bachelor and 17 seasons of The Bachelorette, only nine recipients of the first impression rose have gone on to receive the final rose, meaning that they won the show and either got engaged or pursued a relationship with the lead after filming had ended. Of those nine, two couples are still together today, proving that sometimes first impressions are sometimes, if not always, correct.

DeAnna Pappas' handed out three first impression roses on her season of The Bachelorette, one of which was awarded to her eventual fiance, professional snowboarder Jesse Csincsak.

DeAnna was the first Bachelor Nation lead to give their first and final rose to the same person, a precedent that was only followed by a select few members of Bachelor Nation. Despite their engagement bliss, DeAnna and Jesse called off their plans to wed six months before their scheduled wedding date.

Ali Fedotowsky was smitten with Roberto Martinez from the very first night that they met on her season of The Bachelorette. They got on so well that she presented him with the first impression rose and later offered him the final rose after he got down on one knee and proposed to her.

Ali and Roberto seemed like they were in it for the long haul, they even stayed together for almost two years post-show. However, the pair eventually parted ways, with Ali marrying Kevin Manno in 2017 and Roberto getting engaged again in 2020.

On Sean Lowe's season of The Bachelor, he was able to hand out multiple first impression roses on night one. Of the 12 roses he gifted to the ladies in the mansion, Catherine Giudici was one of them. Catherine and Sean later got engaged in the season finale, with Sean offering her a ring and his final rose.

Catherine's first impression was a good one, because seven years later the pair is happily married with three young children. On social media, they poke fun at one another through sarcastic Instagram posts, but also romantic ones celebrating their anniversaries.

After Kaitlyn Bristowe was declared The Bachelorette by the group of competing men on season 11, she found herself immediately attracted to personal trainer Shawn Booth.

Shawn received Kaitlyn's very first rose, and also her very last as she accepted his proposal over that of Nick Viall's in the season finale. The pair were engaged from 2015 until 2018 when they went their separate ways. Since then, Kaitlyn has been in a relationship with Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tartick, and the pair announced their engagement earlier this year.

JoJo Fletcher got her shot at being The Bachelorette after being rejected by season 20 Bachelor Ben Higgins. On her own season, she presented the first impression rose to Aaron Rodgers' younger brother Jordan.

Jordan was JoJo's clear front-runner from the very episode, and the pair's relationship only grew stronger as the season went on. It was a surprise to no one when she accepted his proposal in the finale and gave him the final rose. As of today,  JoJo and Jordan are still together with plans to wed in the coming year.

Chiropractor Bryan Abasolo made such a good first impression on Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay that she offered him both the first and last rose on her season. Despite threats from strong relationships with popular contestants like Dean Unglert and Peter Kraus, Rachel remained drawn to Bryan first and foremost.

In the season finale, Bryan proposed to Rachel and she accepted, and they became one of those Bachelor Nation couples who actually got married. Bryan and Rachel returned to The Bachelorette during Becca Kufrin's season to host a group date, and have remained one of Bachelor Nation's best success stories.

After a devastating breakup with Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr., Becca Kufrin led her own season of The Bachelorette. A confident lead, she made her feelings for medical sales representative Garrett Yrigoyen clear by presenting him with the first impression rose.

By getting engaged to Garrett at the end of the season, Becca became the fourth Bachelorette in a row to give her first and last rose to the same contestant. However, after two years together Garrett and Becca broke off their engagement, with Becca finding love on the seventh season of Bachelor in Paradise with Thomas Jacobs.

Hannah Ann Sluss caught Peter Weber's eye on night one of the 24th season of The Bachelor. In addition to receiving the first impression rose, the model from Tennessee was also the first contestant to kiss Peter.

Hannah Ann remained a frontrunner all season, though it seemed as if Peter was going to choose Madison Prewett as his winner over her. However, after Madi quit and Peter's mother campaigning for Hannah Ann, Peter ultimately proposed a ring and a rose to his first impression rose recipient. The two ended their engagement before the season finished airing, making theirs the shortest-lived engagement from The Bachelor so far.

Bachelorette Clare Crawley was drawn to Dale Moss from the moment she laid on eyes on him during the 16th season of The Bachelorette. She knew instantly that he was the man for her, and gifted him the first impression rose on night one, which he graciously accepted.

Their romance only got more whirlwind from there, as she made up her mind just three weeks in that she wanted to leave with Dale. He proposed to her and they left the Bachelor Mansion together, marking the shortest season of The Bachelorette ever (which was later taken over by Tayshia Adams). Sadly, this pair is no longer together.
