In the world of Teen Wolf, the main characters see their fair share of threats and sticky situations. They are never, however, trapped in a Squid Game setting, where they live and survive based on their ability to get through deadly children's games. If they did, even supernatural abilities couldn't save them all.
Being a werewolf is great when facing supernatural threats, but having claws and fangs isn't going to increase their skills at a "Game of Marbles." What the Teen Wolf characters need is quite a bit of patience, the ability to read the people around them, and being comfortable manipulating the other players.
10 Jackson Whittmore
Although Jackson becomes a much more patient and understanding person between the series premiere and the finale, he does a lot of that off-screen. The character, as the audience knows him best, is an incredibly impatient person who doesn't take no for an answer.
If Jackson somehow managed to keep himself perfectly still during "Red Light, Green Light," it's the dalgona/honeycomb challenge that likely would have done him in. Jackson would have allowed his frustration to get the better of him and tried to get ahead of everyone else, as he often did when jealous of Scott's sudden increase in skills or when attention was diverted away from him.
9 Liam Dunbar
Like Jackson, Liam is not a patient person. If, like Jackson, he somehow managed to make it through the first two rounds without allowing his anger and impatience to rule his approach to the game, Liam might have a fighting chance.
Where Liam would likely falter is on the "Glass Stepping Stones." He wouldn't use the appropriate amount of caution to find the strongest panels of glass. Liam would charge ahead, thinking he could make it on sheer determination alone.
8 Malia Tate
Where Malia Hale would struggle the most in the Squid Game is with teamwork. It takes a long time for Malia to truly become a member of the McCall pack as she's survived by always putting herself first.
Alliances become a key part of making it through the Squid Game - even when a game isn't being played. Malia's own overconfidence in her ability and her casual disregard for the safety of others would make her a target by people who didn't choose to ally with her. She might find herself a victim during a situation like the riot in the dorms, or she could be sacrificed by her own allies so the rest of them could move forward.
7 Theo Rankin
Theo knows how to manipulate events to his advantage. He proves that when he manages to get Scott to distrust Stiles after only a few days of being in town. His manipulative nature, however, is readily apparent to those who are observant, which means very few participants would trust him in the Squid Game.
Theo would likely try to make alliances to save his own skin, but not many other players would be willing to trust him. He'd be on his own for much of the games, and he wouldn't make it more than a few rounds as a result.
6 Derek Hale
Derek might be one of the unluckiest of werewolves in Teen Wolf. The Hale family's history is one full of tragedy, and Derek just never seems to be able to build up his own pack in the way that Scott does. While he's a great team player, he's not always a great leader (though he continues to try to take on a leadership role with those around him).
Derek's continued push to be the one in charge would be the biggest problem for him in the Squid Game. No one would want to listen to him, which is a continuing problem for him in the show, so it would only be compounded in the Squid Game dorm. Eventually, people would turn on him, not just ignore him.
5 Scott McCall
Scott is a natural leader. As soon as he becomes a werewolf, other supernatural beings begin to gravitate to him. Not all of Scott's decisions in Teen Wolf are popular, but there's no denying that his tendency to protect people at all costs makes others trust him.
That trust would help him form alliances, for sure. The issue is that Scott is one of the only members of his pack who genuinely has trouble taking the life of an enemy. He always wants to disable a threat, not take someone's life, which is admirable but will leave him stuck in the Squid Game. It would get to a point in the game in which Scott would sacrifice himself to make sure one of the people he bonded with survived to win.
4 Kira Yukimura
Kira is one of the strongest members of Scott's pack, but she's short-changed when written out of the series to learn how to control her abilities. She never returns to the show, and once she's gone, the characters rarely acknowledge her absence. It's almost like she doesn't make an impression at all despite her seamlessly fitting into the pack.
Her ability to fit in so easily would serve her well for a while in the Squid Game. She would be able to get through the first few challenges by not standing out. It's when it would come to the final challenges that she would find a target on her back. Kira wants to believe in people so badly that she would be the one manipulated in something like the "Marble Game," and she would lose.
3 Allison Argent
Allison is one of the few characters in Scott's pack who is a trained hunter of supernatural creatures. Of all the members in the Argent family, she's certainly one with the most dramatic character arc as she undergoes her training. She's more gymnastically talented than her friends, as well as trained for combat. Both of those would give her an edge in the more athletic competitions.
Allison is also one of the most observant of her peers. She knows when someone is hiding something and is quick to figure out when there's something supernatural going on, Allison would certainly be the one snooping around, trying to figure out just what the supervisors of the game were up to (which would put her in danger). She would very quickly become a target.
2 Stiles Stilinski
Like Allison, Stiles is one of the few non-supernatural people in the McCall pack. What the Stilinskis lack in supernatural powers though, they make up in investigative skills. Stiles would absolutely be the person in the dorm investigating what's happening in the background.
Also, like Allison, that would make him a target. Unfortunately, Stiles doesn't have the same combat skills that Allison has. He wouldn't be able to defend himself the same way she could, but he might last a little longer than her only because he's very good at giving speeches to sway people to his side. Stiles would likely be able to form a great alliance, but it wouldn't save him in the end.
1 Lydia Martin
Lydia is consistently underestimated by people in the early seasons of Teen Wolf. She hides just how intelligent she is to cultivate a very particular image of herself, and she would likely do that in the early stages of the games as well. Lydia would have the presence of mind to not let anyone other than a trusted few know just how much she's observed, or just how good she would be at playing all of the games.
Lydia, who did some fight training of herself to be able to defend herself, and who can use her banshee scream offensively, would have no trouble getting a win out of the final Squid Game either, though she wouldn't like having to take out her final opponent to do it.
