Jacqueline Laurita’s daughter Ashlee Holmes Malleo from The Real Housewives of New Jersey took a jab at her estranged husband Pete on Instagram by accusing him of being with another woman. Viewers might remember Ashlee for her tumultuous relationship with her mother Jacqueline, who was a cast member on the show for seven seasons. Even though the mother-daughter duo had a difficult time seeing eye-to-eye, they have since become very close.
After so many years on the show Jacqueline left RHONJ after a difficult last season. She decided to move back to Las Vegas with her husband, Chris, and their sons CJ and Nicholas. However, her daughter Ashlee decided to remain in New Jersey since she and Pete are based there. Ashlee would travel back and forth from Las Vegas to New Jersey along with her son, Cameron. Now that Ashlee and Pete are no longer together, maybe Ashlee will be making a permanent move.
On Sunday, Ashlee replied to a fan comment on Instagram asking if she was planning on having another baby with her husband, Pete. The makeup artist replied, "My husband is busy f–king some busted looking wh*re.....but maybe one day." Another RHONJ fan shared how sorry she was to see the end of their marriage, but Ashlee replied, "Don’t be. I’m fine lol." Shortly after Ashlee made the comment, Pete gave Page Six his side of the story. He told the publication he "never cheated on Ashlee" and that the couple has been "separated since August." Pete also clarified that he only sent a "friend request" to someone, "liked some photos," and later asked this person to hang out. Pete reveals that he was single and even severed Ashlee's attorney with divorce papers in early October. He continued in his statement, adding that the cheating rumors are "ridiculous" and even told Ashlee, who is related to Teresa Giudice's friend Dina Manzo, that he has no intentions of getting back together with her.
Pete's primary focus is co-parenting their son Cameron together and showing him unconditional love. After Pete's statement, Ashlee spoke with Page Six as well to clarify that she never said Pete cheated on her. "What the public put together based on what I said in my Instagram stories is on them," she said. Ashlee believed it was only fair for her to clear her name "if Pete is going to make a statement." Ashlee revealed that Pete had cheated on her in the past, however, it wasn't the main reason as to why they decided to separate, which she did not disclose. Ashlee continued to say that she confronted Pete about the woman, but he denied it and said she "needed help" for even thinking he was seeing someone so soon after their split. Ashlee revealed that the woman sent her screenshots of the conversations between the mystery woman and Pete.
The New Jersey native even revealed some choice words Pete had for his ex. Now that Pete has gone to the press to try and change the narrative, Ashlee doesn't see how she and Pete could go back to civil co-parenting like they were before. Even though Ashlee and Pete have some tension following the cheating allegations, she knows what a good father he is to their son Cameron. The former The Real Housewives of New Jersey star only hopes the pair could find a way to be civil again one day.
