Scott Disick has extended an olive branch to Kourtney Kardashian after the Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum's recent engagement to Travis Barker. The Talentless founder reached out to Kourtney on Instagram and left a comment under a photo of their daughter. It appears to be Scott's way of letting fans know he's opening himself up to the fact that Kourtney has moved on. It comes after sources fueled reports of his upset over Kourtney's recent engagement to Travis.
Ahead of Travis popping the big question, Scott was caught bad-mouthing his ex to Kourtney's other ex Younes Bendjima. Scott was so bothered by Kourtney and Travis' constant PDA that he sent a shady DM to someone he had talked negatively about in the past. After Younes put the DM on blast for all to see, KUWTK fans were given confirmation on how bitter Scott felt about Kourtney falling in love with the Blink-182 drummer. Insiders said Scott felt "betrayed" by the Kardashian-Jenners following the engagement for not giving him a heads-up on Travis' planned proposal. But with weeks passing by and the holiday season fast approaching, it looks like Scott is finally warming up to Kourtney and Travis' new relationship.
Kourtney recently shared photos of her kids' Halloween costumes. Mason and Reign Disick sported costumes inspired by the horror movie It, while Penelope Disick dressed like Cher Horowitz from the cult-classic 90s film Clueless. "As if," Kourtney captioned the photos (included below) of Penelope. While Scott has avoided leaving comments on Kourtney's post since she started dating Travis, this photo of his daughter brought out a new reaction toward his ex. "Oh Cher, don't forget she can't keep driving her jeep without her driver's license," he wrote in Kourtney's comments section. It was a reference to the film and a sign that Scott and Kourtney are getting in a better place amid her recent engagement.
Other recent posts included a series of photos showing off the two different couple's costumes Kourtney and Travis wore for Halloween. They also mimicked movies including Travis' favorite, True Romance, and another classic from the 1990s, Edward Scissorhands. Scott's choice to comment on one of Kourtney's Instagram posts shows signs that they're possibly now able to come together for the holiday season. Prior to this engagement, insiders shared Scott's plans to celebrate the holidays with Kourtney and their three kids. With this being Scott's first comment on Kourtney's Instagram in months, it seems like these two can continue co-parenting amicably.
Scott has hit the dating scene back up now that he's single. He was recently spotted enjoying a night out with model Elizabeth Grace Lindley. It was the first date night he was photographed on since splitting from Amelia Hamlin in September. Amelia dumped the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star after his DM about Kourtney got leaked. With Scott losing a relationship and causing a strain with his baby mama, it was probably the reality check he needed to rid himself of his bitter feelings toward Kourtney. After all, it's not Kourtney's fault that they didn't work out.
