90 Day Fiancé: In-Laws Who Became Popular Supporting Cast Members

Since 90 Day Fiancé began, it has featured many bad in-laws and a few nice ones who are nothing but pure-hearted souls. Most mothers-in-law on the show have instigated drama and made life difficult for their sons-in-law or daughters-in-law. Some of the very worst 90 Day Fiancé in-laws are Asuelu Pulaa's mother Lesina, Chantel Everett's mom Karen, Pedro Jimeno's mama Lidia, and Colt Johnson's mom Debbie.

Lesina got famous for forcing Asuelu and her daughter-in-law Kalani Faagata to give her money. 90 Day Fiancé fans disliked her as she abused the Samoan tradition to guilt-trip her son into giving her cash. Debbie didn't want Colt to be controlled by any other woman but herself. She created problems for her son during his relationship with Larissa Lima and Jess Caroline. At one point, she purposefully exposed Colt's lie in front of Jess to break them up. In the end, Debbie got what she wanted as her son married Vanessa Guerra, who is someone she really likes.

Chantel's mom Karen was another worst in-law who doubted her son-in-law on multiple occasions. She accused Pedro of "harvesting the American dollar." She even had her suspicions on her son Royal Everett's Filipina fiancée Angenette. While the list goes on for the worst mothers-in-law on the show, let's talk about some in-laws who became breakout stars while playing the part of supporting cast members.

After featuring on 90 Day Fiancé season 8, Jovi Dufren's mom, Gwen, became one of the best mothers-in-law of the franchise. The fans named her the "best parent" for multiple reasons. While Jovi was at work, she offered Yara to move in amid her first pregnancy. Gwen also threw her an amazing baby shower. Apart from helping her daughter-in-law, she also tried making efforts to adopt Yara's Ukrainian culture. She sided with Yara instead of blindly supporting her son when he made a mistake. Gwen came across as a truly genuine person throughout her appearances on the show or Tell-All episodes.

The second sweetest in-law on the show is Ariela Weinberg's mother. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers think that Janice is "#momgoals." She loves Biniyam as much as she loves her own kids, and it is visible from her Instagram. Janice frequently posts about Biniyam on her IG grid, which shows she loves and accepts him. Unlike other 90 Day Fiancé in-laws, Janice always tried to understand & respect Biniyam and his country's culture. She is also trying to sort out Ariela and Biniyam's relationship problems. In the latest season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Janice accompanied her daughter to Kenya so she could guide the couple.

Last but not least, there's Kalani's dad, Low Faagata. He is one of the nicest in-laws on the show, and he was also voted the "favorite father" by many fans. Despite his anger issues in the past, Low taught his Asuelu a valuable lesson about treating the family right. Low supported his daughter after things got sour on her trip to Washington, and he made Asuelu apologize. Overall, his protective nature became one of the many things that made 90 Day Fiancé fans like him. In 2021, the relationship between Low and Asuelu has improved drastically. Low is now teaching his son-in-law how to play golf. Let's see if the upcoming seasons of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise will feature any supportive in-laws.
