Kylie Sonique Love has officially won RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 6 and there are many reasons that make her the best possible winner for this season. When Kylie was introduced to the fans on Drag Race season 2 back in 2010, she was a 26-year-old drag performer from Atlanta, Georgia. Several queens have disclosed their gender identity in subsequent Drag Race seasons. However, Kylie was the first-ever contestant to disclose that she is a transgender woman on the show.
Despite being the fourth eliminated queen on RuPaul's Drag Race season 2, Kylie went on to have a stellar career after that season. In 2015, she was one of the queens featured in Miley Cyrus' "Dooo It!" performance at the Video Music Awards. Kylie then appeared on the RuPaul's Drag Race: Holi-Slay Spectacular special in 2018 and made a cameo on Drag Race season 11 in 2019. Also in 2019, Kylie appeared on a music video for Lizzo's "Juice" alongside queens such as A'keria Davenport, Detox, Asia O'Hara, and Silky Nutmeg Ganache, to name a few.
Kylie has now won All Stars 6 and the overall Drag Race fandom couldn't be happier. She performed at an extremely high level throughout the season and arrived at the finale as one of the top contenders. In fact, Kylie's lipstick wasn't picked by a single contestant throughout All Stars 6, which shows how much respect these queens have for Kylie. With this win, Kylie has now become the first-ever openly trans contestant to win Drag Race, which was a long time coming. Aside from delivering a jaw-dropping lip sync to Christina Aguilera's "Dirrty" and winning against lip sync assassin Manila Luzon, Kylie also proved that she could do many things she didn't know she was capable of. For instance, her impersonation of Dolly Parton in the Snatch Game redeemed her impersonation of Lady Gaga in season 2.
Speaking of which, Kylie redeemed her connection to Lady Gaga by slaying the lip sync for the crown to "Stupid Love". Besides iconically saving herself after an accidental fall during the lip sync, Kylie had the very best performance out of the four finalists. In addition, she looked like a country music superstar during her Top 4 performance of RuPaul's new original song, "This Is Our Country". Last but certainly not least, Kylie's frontrunner status was also made clear on Instagram. She accumulated more likes than any other All Stars 6 finalist on the official Instagram account for Drag Race, which made it clear that the overall fandom was rooting for her to win.
Now that Kylie has won Drag Race, she has released a new original song and music video titled "Complete Me". The video featured several trans and non-binary individuals, as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ community as a whole. Fans were delighted to see that the video featured Kylie's RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 6 co-star Eureka and season 6 star Laganja Estranja.
