How to Customize Heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint | Screen Rant

Naraka: Bladepoint offers a large selection of character customization for all of its Heroes. Deep character customization has become a staple feature of any major Battle Royale, but Naraka: Bladepoint goes beyond what is usually available.

Naturally, the first things that come to mind for character customization are skins and outfit changes, like those seen in Fortnite. While this new Battle Royale does have those options, Naraka: Bladepoint allows its Heroes to have custom facial and other bodily features more often associated with an RPG.

Hero customization is purely for cosmetic purposes in Naraka: Bladepoint. While other features, like Talents, can be changed, these features will not impact how the Battle Royale operates. Customization features are also slightly limited to the character they're associated with. For example, Viper Ning has more limitations to her customizations because she is always equipped with her blindfold.

Heroes can be customized under the "Heroes" tab in the main menu. To customize their outfit, select "Collection." To customize the physical appearance, select "Customization." Every character in Naraka: Bladepoint is pre-equipped with Default Face, Default Face 1, and Default Face 2. While these choices can be edited, additional slots are available to create entirely new faces. There is a surprisingly deep level of customization that goes into Naraka: Bladepoint, allowing each Hero to have a customized:

  • Forehead
  • Brow Bone
  • Cheekbone
  • Cheek (Upper)
  • Cheek (Lower)
  • Cheek (Middle)
  • Lips (Sides)
  • Chin
  • Chin (Sides)
  • Lower Jaw
  • Lower Jaw (Corners)
  • Ears
  • Upper Earlobe
  • Lower Earlobe

Those options are available to the facial structure alone. There are more than a dozen other specific features that can be customized to separate the Heroes from the default bots appearing in Naraka: Bladepoint. Additionally, there are options to randomly generate the appearance of a Hero or even export and import QR codes from other players' characters. To export a Hero's appearance, click "Share" in the bottom right corner of the Edit screen. This will generate the image and QR code. To import the appearance, click "Import" and select the desired photo to copy the appearance. The imported appearance must be the appropriate QR code for that Hero - Tarka Ji's code won't work on any other Hero, for example.

There is also an option called "Smart Customization." This feature allows players to select a personal image of themselves or anyone else saved to their PC and have it analyzed. Naraka: Bladepoint will match the features it can to have the Hero recreated to the appearance of the person in the image. Definitely an odd feature, but Naraka: Bladepoint doesn't save the image.
