Genshin Impact: 10 Tasks That Should Be Part Of Every Player's Daily Routine

2020's Genshin Impact's gameplay revolves around progressing the story and completing daily and weekly tasks. For players that wish to maximize efficiency, there are way more things to do on a daily basis than just the basic commissions. All these tasks reset daily, at 4 am based on the timezone of the server with Europe being on the GMT +1 timezone, NA on the GMT -5, and Asia on the GMT +8.

From repeating certain world events multiple times per day and checking for limited items in shops to completing different kinds of daily missions and using resin, there are multiple things to be done every 24 hours or so in Genshin Impact.

10 Complete Some Daily Commissions

The most obvious and important daily task is the daily commissions. These reset at a set time every day and take only a few minutes to complete. They usually require the player to travel to a specific location and kill a few monsters.

Each provides the player with primogems, weapon materials, coins, and experience. In addition, completing them all and talking to the adventurers guild allows the player to take an additional reward.

9 Mining Activities

Since all ores in the game are needed for weapon ascension, it can be very helpful to start mining them early on a daily basis. If the player has reached reputation level 2 in either of the three main cities, they can talk to the blacksmith to find out the mining hotspots for the day.

These will be spots that include multiple minerals and all of them will be needed. In addition, there's a daily battle pass mission that requires that player to mine 10 ores, so that's an extra reason to go mining.

8 Using Resin

One of the most common mistakes made by new players is that they neglect using resin. However, as Resin resets fully after 16 hours at most (if it's fully empty), it is important to use it daily.

Even if the player is fairly low on their adventure rank and can't fight world bosses, Ley Lines or Domains are great alternatives. Especially Ley Lines, as the mora and the level-up books that they offer will definitely be needed later on.

7 Repeatable World Events

While running around and exploring the map, players have noticed certain world quests spawn. However, these quests are not random but instead are guaranteed to spawn whenever the player runs by that location.

A trick used by many players is completing any of these world quests, logging off at the location of the quest, and when they log back in the event is active again (might take 1 minute to activate after relog). This can be repeated up to 10 times daily for some extra solid rewards.

6 Go On Some Expeditions

Expeditions are a great way to consistently get crystal chunks and white iron ore. These will be needed in large amounts later in the game for upgrading the player's weapons.

Each expedition finishes in 20 hours, so it's important to reset them daily. In addition, one of the biggest changes since the launch of Genshin Impact is that expedition characters can be used by the player in combat while they are on an expedition.

5 Buying Limited Items

The restaurants in every main city as well as some merchants sell a limited amount of rare raw or processed materials that reset daily. Especially for cooking, it can be helpful to buy these daily as it will ensure that the player will always have food to heal or buff their party.

In addition, some of these items will be required for quests or weapon and character upgrades later in the game, so stockpiling them early can be extremely helpful and time-saving.

4 Daily Battle Pass Missions

The Battle Pass is a great way to get some extra rewards and it is recommended for players to try to complete it, even if they are on the free trial. The best way to progress is by completing the daily missions, which are very easy.

There are four missions total that include logging in, mining 10 ores, spending 150 Original Resin, and completing four commissions. Completing these daily takes minimal effort and the rewards quickly rack up.

3 Do Some Artifact Farming

There are multiple locations around the world that the player can 'Investigate' and usually drop artifacts or cooking materials. As these spots reset daily, it is recommended for players to find a route that includes as many of these as possible and complete it every day.

This will help players gather the necessary artifacts to enhance their best ones. In addition, this only takes a few minutes if players can find an efficient route.

2 Progress Weekly Tasks

In addition to daily missions, there are multiple tasks that can be completed limited times per week. To make sure the player is getting the most profit for their time, it can be helpful to check how far these have progressed every daily.

Genshin Impact offers many options, from weekly battle pass missions and weekly bosses to the Spiral Abyss weekly rewards and the city bounties and requests.

1 Have Fun

In a game that is full of daily tasks and requires consistency for players to maximize their profits, sometimes players forget to enjoy the game. One of the best tips is to not rush the story or any events and always remember to have fun.

Genshin Impact is above all a game, and part of a player's daily routine should be to do something fun. Either that means running around the world to enjoy the picturesque scenery, or using co-op to have fun with other adventurers, it's important for players to enjoy the game.
