Warzone Lobby Celebrates Player Killing A Hacker | Screen Rant

A wholesome moment has been captured in Call of Duty: Warzone when the last remaining player in a match managed to defeat a hacker who had killed 46 other players, leading to a spontaneous celebration in the post-game lobby. Despite its huge popularity, the battle royale game continues to have a high number of glitches and exploits that allow players to gain an unfair advantage if used during normal gameplay. One recent example even allows users to melee opponents through walls in Warzone, something that should not be possible.

Along with glitches and other bugs, hackers have been a huge problem in Warzone since its launch. Although Activision continues to update the game and introduce new anti-cheat measures, hackers are still able to manipulate the game so that they can move faster, shoot with more accuracy, and have extra health compared to other players. Some hackers can win matches in Warzone by simply shooting into the ground.

Any gamer who regularly plays online will know that one of the worst things that can happen during a match is that a hacker gets in the lobby. These cheaters use a variety of exploits to ruin the experience for everyone else. They are so universally hated that when a Call of Duty: Warzone player known as GoldenArm10 managed to kill a hacker, 25 spectators stayed behind in the lobby to congratulate him. The video, which was posted to Reddit by rainisland90 and can be seen below, shows the hacker killing dozens of other legitimate players before finally being defeated, prompting a flurry of messages and applause from those who were still watching the action.

Even with the hacker problem, the battle royale spin-off has remained incredibly successful and maintains a sizable player base. That is largely down to the fact that the developers continue to update the game with new content and features. For example, those playing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S can now unlock a higher resolution. The latest Warzone texture pack download allows the game to be played at 1440p resolution.

Hackers are a massive problem for online multiplayer and the issue only seems to get worse as titles move to have larger lobbies featuring hundreds of players. While the games themselves may not be offering an effective solution, it's nice to see that legitimate players can still have a chance of coming out on top.
