The Office: 10 Sweetest Friendship Scenes Fans Watch Over & Over

Fans of The Office are aware of the comedy and unique characters in the show. From Michael Scott's chaotic moments to Jim and Dwight's prank wars, there is always something going on in the office that fans can follow. However, there are plenty of sweet moments of friendship from the show that are underrated. From working together and hanging out outside of the office, there have been some moments of pure friendship from some of the characters that are worth remembering.

The show deals with humor and even romantic relationships, but some of the best moments come from the characters genuinely supporting each other.

10 Michael Visits Pam At An Art Show

Pam invites her co-workers to an art show where some of her art will be displayed. During the entire time, nobody comes to see Pam's art besides Oscar—who she overhears says that her art is "motel art"—and her former boyfriend who tries to encourage her. Pam still feels a lack of support, and, when she is taking her pieces down, Michael comes along to look at her work.

He is genuine as he admires her artwork, especially one of their office building. In a particularly heartwarming Office moment, Michael asks how much the painting is, and Pam is surprised. When Michael says that he is proud of Pam, it brings her to tears, and she hugs Michael, thanking him. This is one of the sweetest moments from the show, and it shows how supportive Michael can be.

9 Oscar Offers Angela To Live With Him

Angela is going through a rough time, with recently being evicted, moving in with a man who ex-husband, and coming into work drunk. Oscar notices that Angela is struggling, and he offers her to move in with him for the time being until she can get back on her feet.

Angela first tells him to mind his own business, and then she says she he wouldn't want her at his place. While Oscar insists that she can stay, she reaches out and holds his hand, thanking him. Fans loved to see this moment between the two unlikely friends.

8 The Dundies

As Michael presents the Dundies awards, he begins to feel like people aren't enjoying it as he imagined, and others are outwardly showing their disinterest and annoyance. He decides to cut the awards short, but it's clear he is upset.

Pam notices this and asks Michael where her award is. Jim jumps in and says that he hasn't gotten an award either. This helps lift Michael's mood, so he continues on with the fun awards, and everyone ends up having a good time thanks to Pam's uplifting mood.

7 The Crew Watches Andy's Show

After a show, Michael and the crew come backstage to see Andy, but, a character with more than a few sad scenes in The Office, he's clearly upset and lacking support. Michael tells Andy that he did awesomely and that, if he thought he was bad, he would have said it. Even Stanley says that he is surprised he pulled it off. They encourage him to sing another song, and, when Andy tries to push them away, they begin to cheer his name.

6 The Goodbye Song To Michael

Michael is leaving Scranton for good, and, while he says his goodbyes in the meeting room, the group has all come together to sing a song for him. They sing fun stories and memories of each character and their interaction with Michael. It is such a sad but heartwarming moment to see everyone come together and show their appreciation for their boss. Their kind gesture brings Michael to tears.

5 Dwight Comforts Pam

Pam has tried to hold a happy face while seeing Jim and Karen got into a relationship, but, deep inside, she was heartbroken. Despite her feelings, she encourages Jim to go further into his relationship with Karen, but the emotions become too much, and Pam ends up crying in the hallway.

Dwight spots her, and, unlike his usual straightforward and stern behavior, he ends up sitting down and lets her cry on his shoulder. It is a surprising moment between the two, but seeing Dwight being there for her is one that fans cherish.

4 Jim Saves Dwight From Being Fired

Dwight takes Jim and his task force down to Florida to open a Sabre store, but Jim realizes that Dwight is being used as a scapegoat and was going to be fired. Jim doesn't want Dwight to be embarrassed or fired, so he does all he can to stop Dwight from going in. It causes quite the fight, but Jim keeps Dwight back in time for Todd Packer to be the scapegoat in place of him.

 

3 Michael Comes To Dwight & Angela's Wedding

Jim is always down to prank Dwight, but this has to be one of his nicest pranks ever. On Dwight's wedding day, Jim comes up to him and makes up a lie that the best man cannot be younger than the groom. Dwight falls for it, and he begins to worry and wonders what to do.

However, Michael appears in the doorway, surprising Dwight. It is a heartwarming interaction seeing the two reconnect again and for Michael to come back for the big wedding day.

2 Jim Admits To Missing Dwight

Dwight ends up temporarily leaving Dunder Mifflin in a heartbreaking Office separation after Andy sabotages him. While it is certain that Dwight will return, his disappearance takes a toll on some people in the office, even Jim, who endlessly pranks and pokes fun at him.

Jim admits that he does miss having Dwight around, and, while the moment was sad, fans were pleased to see Jim be vulnerable and share that he misses his friend.

1 Dwight Takes Care Of Cece

Dwight can surprisingly be gentle and kind, and he proves this when he makes a connection with Cece. When Dwight and the rest head to Gabe's house, Jim and Pam bring Cece along, who were having trouble getting Cece to fall asleep.

Dwight ends up being able to hold and calm down Cece. To keep him holding the baby, Pam tells him that they were close friends and Jim even feeds Dwight pizza. This gesture from Dwight to the Halpert family is sweet, and it shows that Dwight does truly care for them.
