Ghirahim's primary goal is to hunt down Zelda. At this point in the story, players are unsure why but know they need to do everything in their power to stop him. It first begins with Ghirahim seeing Link as no threat but the anti amps up as the players progress through the game. He can be intimidating at first but knowing when the strike can go a long way. This guide will show players how they can defeat Ghirahim.

At the start of the battle, Ghirahim will approach Link with his red hand. He uses this to catch his blade if the player is just slashing directly. In this case, the player will need to beat Ghirahim by placing the sword to the left and rapidly switching at the last second to do some damage. If he does capture Link's blade, players can bump him with his shield. Repeat this to bring the battle into the next phase.

Now, Ghirahim will summon his own blade and will shoot daggers at the player. Players can avoid this attack by either stepping out of the way or slashing back at the daggers to hit Ghirahim. Although, players will need to wait until he teleports behind Link. At this point, players can then attack him directly before he has the chance to attack. He will flee and players will just need to repeat this process again to defeat him. This isn't the last time players will encounter Ghirahim and it will only get more challenging as the game progresses.
