Glow Up: Everything To Know About Season 3 Host Maya Jama

For the third season of Glow Up, the wildly popular makeup competition show, Maya Jama replaced Stacey Dooley as host. Maya has become a mainstay on BBC, from working as a TV personality to a presenter and even a guest judge. Here is everything to know about Maya Jama and her many TV appearances over the years.

Glow Up pits ten UK-based makeup artists against each other as they battle it out to see who will be Britain's next makeup star and get the contract to work with some of the top makeup artists in the world. Stacey Dooley hosted the first two seasons before being replaced by Maya Jama on Glow Up, but there was no bad blood between the two, with Stacey wishing Maya all the best before she started. Alongside industry professional judges Val Garland and Dominic Skinner, Maya is on Glow Up to support the makeup artists and encourage them to go big with their creativity.

Maya has been on countless reality and game shows, from co-presenting the premiere season of The Circle in the UK to becoming part of a panel on the award-winning show Celebrity Juice. Maya is a big soccer fan and was able to share that with fans when joining the hit BBC show, Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer. The show brings in people from various British sports, as well as comedy and musical acts so there is something for everyone. Maya also showed her knowledge of fashion when she was a guest judge on season 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, where she critiqued the queens' unconventional materials garments.

Maya has showed off her hosting and presenting skills on numerous shows, and was even nominated for a National Television Award for Best TV Presenter this past year. She has expanded her portfolio even further as she just made the leap to the world of boxing after presenting at DAZN's Matchroom Boxing. When she is not on TV, she is also a small business owner of MIJ, which specializes in beauty products like under eye and face masks.

Maya had a high-profile relationship with British rapper, Stormzy, and the pair dated for four years. After a tumultuous breakup, Maya moved on and was rumored to have had a brief fling with Drake after her name appeared in one of his songs. Most recently, the 26-year-old has begun seeing NBA player, Ben Simmons, who famously dated Kendall Jenner and was often talked about on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

From owning her own business to giving hilarious commentary and supporting new makeup artists on Glow Up, Maya has proven she can do it all. Fans have shown their love for Maya as host of the show on social media, saying "loved you in this" and adding that her presence was "like a breath of fresh air" on the show. Let's hope Maya will be back again for a fourth season of Glow Up.
