Let It Die: 10 Strongest Enemies, Ranked | ScreenRant

Developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by GungHo Online Entertainment for PS4 in 2016 and Windows in 2018, Let it Die is a popular free-to-play action-based RPG. The game involves players who follow directions from Uncle Death, a grim-reaper who orders his henchmen to storm a perilous castle called Tower of Barbs, procure assorted weapons, fight hordes of vicious monsters, and find mushrooms to consume as a means of survival.

The various enemies in Let it Die are subdivided into seven categories of escalating strength, skill, and uniquely deadly powers. Before diving into the game, beware of the most fearsome and formidable foes Let it Die has to offer.

10 Screamers

As the most common enemy in the RPG, Screamers are also the easiest to defeat. The ubiquitous foes will attack a player on sight despite their often slow, lumbering nature, allowing for an easy counterattack. Screamers will also react and look into gunshots if in close enough proximity.

However, Screamers tend to be deaf and largely fail to react to fighting noises. This makes them very easy to sneak up and defeat without detection. Even when an armed Screamer enters the fray, simply eluding their line of sight will render them harmless.

9 Bullet Tubers

The most diverse collection of enemies in Let it Die are Tubers, which are divided into six subcategories of increasing power. Ranking ahead of the slow and easily dodgeable Scratch Tubers and downward attacking Hover Tubers is the ultra-powerful Bullet Tubers.

Bullet Tubers are humanoid beasts equipped with an unparalleled arsenal of perilous weapons. They can use laser beams to fire a deadly machine gun from long range, as well as a lethal flamethrower up close. Worse yet, Bullet Tubers stalk the Tower of Barbs in total silence, making them extremely difficult to detect.

8 Bone Tubers

With unprecedented speed, quickness, and agility, Bone Tubers are sinister and sinewy monsters who zip and zoom around the Tower and attack with ruthless and efficient precision. Incredibly difficult to touch, much less inflict damage upon, Bone Tubers can only be harmed after they mount an attack.

In addition to their immense speed and elusiveness, Bone Tubers have a powerful three-pronged attack. They can exact a rapid spinning attack, a dual-slashing onslaught, and a formidable rolling attack.

7 Reversal Tubers

While the incredibly rare motor-biking Treasure Tuber is not to be trifled with, the Reversal Tuber is the strongest enemy of its ilk. These are gigantic mecha Tubers with extremely powerful arms that they can use to kill players and shield themselves from harm.

In addition to devastating players with a single death blow, Reversal Tubers have the power to create Earthquakes upon striking the ground with brute force. While the hulking beasts tend to move slow, they turn very quickly, and can only sustain damage if wounded in the back.

6 Hardcore Haters

After Tubers, the next strata of Let it Die enemies include Haters. Broken into player haters, developer haters, and hardcore haters, the term refers to the ghost of a protagonist who reanimates as a bad guy after dying in the game.

Of the three, Hardcore Haters are the most dangerous and difficult to defeat. Limited to the upper floors of levels 42-49, these upgraded and fortified enemies are impervious to poison, making them hard to slow down and sneak attack. Upon defeating Hardcore Haters, their corpses turn into a treasure chest equipped with either Tuber or Faction Metal.

5 Hunters

Like Haters, Hunters are fighters with superhuman strength sent by one player to hunt another. Often deployed as a means of revenge, these relentless killers can spawn for up to an hour. Once obtaining the full range of weapons in the Tower, Hunters are as strong and deadly as any protagonist in the game.

If a Hunter kills a player, the player has the option to add the Hunter to their revenge list. Akin to a brutal mirror match, Hunters are the villainous equivalent of a player with every weapon at its disposal.

4 Mid-Bosses

Following Haters and Hunters, Mid-Bosses are usually the next strongest enemies in the game. The four main mid-bosses in the game are comprised of different Faction Metals and each possesses its own unique attack vulnerability.

The two strongest mid-bosses include GOTO-9, a beast made of candle wolf faction metal that appears on Floor 36, and JIN-DIE, a war ensemble metallic faction that attacks players on Floor 38. While extremely difficult, both baddies can be defeated using advanced slashing techniques.

3 Dons

After defeating the mid-bosses and climbing the tower floors, Dons are the next subset of enemies to face. These are big final bosses who must be defeated in order to advance to the next level of the game. As such, defeating them is no easy feat.

Of the four Dons in the game, the most difficult to defeat is Taro Gunkanyama, a super powerful boss who shows up on Floor 40. Taro is a gargantuan 7'10'' sumo wrestler and founder of the Muscle International League of Killers (M.I.L.K.) who can wield tremendous power and defeat players with a single blow.

2 The Forcemen

Once the Dons are defeated, players will face an increased challenge via The Forcemen, a quartet of super-soldier bosses who appear on their own floors of the tower. With their custom arsenal of upgraded weaponry, these final enemies are among the toughest to defeat.

The strongest of the Forcemen includes Pale Wind, the final boss that is reinforced by M.I.L.K faction metal and an impervious insectile suit of armor. Attempting to beat Pale Wind on Floor 38 is among the most difficult challenges the game has to offer.

1 Jackals

Equipped with the best weapons and body armor money can buy, Jackals are the strongest enemies in Let it Die. Hired by the Dons to retrieve bodies inside the tower, the trio of mysterious killers include a hyper-violent gangster, a former assassin, and a yo-yo-laser-beaming female.

Jackals increase in strength as a player climbs the tower, and are often considered the endgame villains due to their immense strength and indestructibility. With teleportation skills and a max fighting level ranging from a whopping 200-256, Jackals are nearly impossible to defeat.
