Over eight seasons, Full House fans watched the Tanner family support each other while learning lessons, and both the kid and adult characters seem to grow up a lot. 10 Most Realistic: DJ Wants Her Own Bedroom
In the pilot episode, DJ wants her own bedroom, which is one of the most realistic Full House storylines. Many siblings hate having to share a room and they wish that they could have their own space. It's nice to have that place to retreat and relax when part of such a big family.
Many things about DJ are confusing, but it makes sense that she would want to be treated as the oldest sibling who deserves to stop sharing a room. DJ is an independent person and this is one of the earliest times that she shows that trait.
9 Least Realistic: DJ Tries Out For A Cereal Commercial
In the season 1 episode "Sisterly Love," DJ begins to like acting and she tries out for a cereal commercial.
This doesn't seem like one of the most realistic storylines on the show. Would her family really be okay with that? While some parents want their kids to begin acting at a young age, others might not think that it's the best idea, and they might want DJ to wait several years before exploring her passion for acting or another skill. It's Jesse's idea to audition for commercials, as he explains to Danny that he has connections in show business, but it's hard to believe that Danny would be fine with this.

Uncle Jesse has catchphrases that are memorable and when fans think about this character, they also think about the many times that he talks about how beautiful and perfect his hair is. He's definitely very invested in keeping his hair looking good all the time.
In the season 2 opener "Cutting It Close," Stephanie cuts Jesse's hair, and it's clear from the start that this is going to be a problem. Of course, she ruins his hair since she's so young, and he has to scramble to get it fixed. This seems like something that could really happen as Stephanie was just having fun and trying to be helpful and grown-up.
7 Least Realistic: Becky And Jesse Try To Get Married Without Anyone Knowing
At the end of season 2, Becky and Jesse think that they can get married almost immediately after Jesse proposes. They don't want to tell anyone, but of course, the family finds out. This isn't a storyline that makes much sense, as wouldn't someone as family-oriented as Uncle Jesse want the Tanner family involved in his special day?
Becky also gets nervous and doesn't want to marry Jesse right then, which makes their rash decision even more confusing. The couple gets married another time, and Jesse goes skydiving that day.
6 Most Realistic: Michelle Doesn't Want Teddy To Move Away
In a memorable storyline from season 6, Michelle is upset that her best friend Teddy is moving away to Texas.
She thinks that she can stop him from going by tying him to a chair. This is super realistic, as she's too young to understand that sometimes people have to move away for work or other reasons, and she really thinks that she has a say in the matter. Fans loved watching the sweet friendship between these two characters so this was a sad moment.

They decide to act like the children in the house and say that Stephanie and DJ should be the parents in the house. In the second episode "Our Very First Night," Uncle Jesse is looking after the kids, and Stephanie and DJ say that they can go to bed much later than they really should.
This is super realistic, as kids are always lying about bedtimes, especially to babysitters. It makes sense that they would think that Jesse would be gullible and that he would think that of course, they were telling the truth.
3 Least Realistic: Stephanie's Favorite Musician Performs At Her Birthday Party
There are often celebrity cameos on sitcoms, so a character's favorite musician sometimes performs at a party or other special occasion.
The same thing happens in a season 5 episode of Full House called "Crushed" when Stephanie's favorite singer performs at her birthday bash. This is more unrealistic than the show's other storylines, as most children don't have famous people at their birthday parties.
2 Most Realistic: Stephanie Is Tempted To Go For A Drive With Gia And Some Boys
Stephanie's friend Gia isn't a very nice person and sometimes gets Stephanie into sticky situations.
In the final season of Full House, Stephanie and her friend Gia get in a car with some boys whom they start talking to while at the mall. This is super dangerous as they're reckless drivers. DJ tells Stephanie that it's a bad idea to go again and that she will let their dad know if she goes again. Stephanie is tempted and doesn't love that DJ is being so harsh, but this is a realistic storyline, as many teens are torn between doing the right thing and having some fun.
1 Least Realistic: Danny Actually Spies On Steve And DJ
Steve and DJ meet on vacation in Spain and they fall for each other super quickly. It's sweet to watch this young couple, and this relationship is very formative for DJ.
In the season 7 episode "The Apartment," Steve moves out and DJ is glad to have privacy there. While it's logical that Danny would be a bit concerned, he actually spies on them through the window, which is definitely taking things too far, making this an unrealistic storyline.
