How & Where To Watch The Harry & Meghan Oprah Interview

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey, and viewers in the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom will all be able to watch.

Prince Harry participated in a lighthearted interview on The Late Late Show with James Corden last week, but the interview with Oprah is particularly consequential in that Harry and Meghan will appear together for the first time since stepping down as senior royals last year. Oprah had previously met Meghan upon a visit to Kensington Palace several years ago, and proposed an interview to take place in either February or March of 2018. Obviously, that never came to fruition, but Oprah and the Duchess of Sussex remained close, and will now bring their relationship to the masses in the wake of a hectic few weeks for the royal family.

Meghan has already expressed her frustration with the lack of privacy afforded by life as a senior royal. She and Harry decided to step down from the positions, and Oprah was even accused of advising in that decision. Oprah denied any such allegations, but she and the couple will likely address this and much more when the interview airs. Here is where viewers in the U.S., Canada, and UK will be able to watch this bombshell television event.

Oprah's interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will air on Sunday, March 7th at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. Oprah may not be a regular employee of ViacomCBS, which also owns new streaming service Paramount+, but the company still managed to nab the landmark interview. Unlike British audiences, Americans may not be as divided on Harry and Meghan's decision to step away from the royal family, but they remain enthused by the recent events, particularly as shows like Netflix's The Crown have revitalized Americans' fascination with British royalty. Of course, Meghan is also an American herself, and has been outspoken about how her status as a Black American woman affected the way people treated her at Kensington Palace.

Canadian audiences will be able to catch Oprah's two-hour interview with Harry and Meghan right alongside American audiences. The interview will air on Global at 8 p.m. EST on Sunday, March 7th.

British viewers may be most eager to see what Harry and Meghan have to say in their interview with Oprah, but they will have to wait a little while longer to get their hands on the historic interview, which will broadcast on ITV on Monday, March 8th at 9 p.m.

It's bound to be the biggest interview in a decade - it should be no surprise that Oprah is the one who scored it.
