The trailer for The Princess Switch 2: Switched Again ups the ante with yet another character played by Vanessa Hudgens. Netflix's The Princess Switch starred Vanessa Hudgens as both a royal from a fictional European country and a regular gal from the States. The two switch places when they meet and discover their identical resemblance. The movie adapted the classic story "The Prince and the Pauper" into a Christmas rom-com.
In anticipation of the holiday season, Netflix has released The Princess Switch 2 trailer on YouTube as well as exclusive first look photos and official art. Mike Rohl returns to direct the sequel written by Robin Bernheim Burger and Megan Metzger. Sam Palladio and Nick Sagar reprise their roles as Prince Edward and Kevin Richards. With the post-Halloween demand for holiday movies only just starting to ramp up, a Princess Switch sequel will surely be appreciated by seasonal viewers. Hudgens is clearly invested in the project: the actress also signed on as a producer for a film that has her juggling three lead roles. It will be fun to see Hudgens add her latest character Fiona into the rotation.
