90 Day Fiancé: Paul Dismisses Rumors TLC Fired Him, Hopes For A Return

Earlier, former 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? stars Paul and Karine Staehle posted a message on Instagram that led fans to conclude they had been fired from TLC. However, the Kentucky native is now refuting such stories and setting the record straight. The couple was not "fired or reprimanded."

Paul and Karine have been going through a really bad time in the past couple of months. Things were so messy between them that the show producers decided not to film, giving the duo ample time to resolve their burning issues off-camera. The couple has now dropped their restraining orders against each other and is happily living together in Brazil. The 37-year-old reality TV star recently took to Instagram to give an update to his fans. He informed his followers that the "false" allegations reported against him had been dropped. He was planning to return to the United States, but his wife's green card was stolen. So, the couple is waiting for the embassy to reopen, which is closed due to COVID-19. Till then, Paul is trying to make a living on a "working farm" in Brazil, which was inherited by his wife.

Paul concluded his IG story with a shocking announcement, "We will probably no longer be filming," making many 90 Day Fiancé fans believe the network fired the couple. But, the former TLC star made another Instagram story to slam such assumptions. He confirmed he and Karine weren't "fired or reprimanded." In fact, they were given time to handle their family problems "privately." He added, "Our payments and income was not affected. TLC and Sharp [Entertainment] have both been very considerate to our situation." Check out the screenshot of his IG story below:

Paul is also "hopeful" and "eager" to return to the show. In the meantime, he has promised his followers to post "some positive highlights" with his family on "social media and YouTube." The couple is stuck in Brazil "indefinitely" and their second baby is due in February. So, it's unlikely they would be able to make another 90 Day Fiancé spin-off for a while.

Nonetheless, the 24-year-old Brazilian beauty appears to be happy in Brazil, where she is closer to her family. Even if they resolve her visa issue, the couple might not return to the United States anytime soon. Still, many viewers are enraged by the fact that Paul wasn't dismissed, even after serious domestic abuse charges, while fellow 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? alum Larissa Lima was immediately fired after doing a sexy lingerie show for an adult webcam site.
