From starting seven years ago to having seven spin-offs, 90 Day Fiancé has become iconic for the reality TV world. And just as fans kept hearing murmurs about a whole new era of the TLC show staring soon, little did they know that their prayers would be answered instantly. The series that started it all is all set to return in 2020 itself as TLC has announced by launching the trailer for 90 Day Fiancé season 8! Here’s what the trailer tells about the all-new and also returning couples on the much-awaited edition.

While the premise for 90 Day Fiancé stays the same, year season brings with it a new, more troubled than the past season’s set of couples. With just 90 days left till they walk down the altar, the TLC show sees one American partner set out to find everlasting happiness with their international lover. The K-1 visa chronicles are usually just the start for the couples who soon face cultural barriers and feuding families. Sure, it’s a love that goes beyond borders for the 90 Day Fiancé pairs, but oftentimes, it doesn’t even last. With the threat of being sent back home looming large and a ticking clock to beat, the season 8 trailer of 90 Day Fiancé offers a glimpse into the lives of four new and three familiar pairs of faces.

The TLC trailer for 90 Day Fiancé season 8 starts off with none other than season 7 alum Natalie and Mike raising a toast to their new journey. But while Ukranian Natalie’s K-1 visa was delayed the last time, the fighting couple has returned, this time around with Natalie calling Michael a monster amidst tears. “Welcome to America,” says 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’ Rebecca to Tunisia’s Zied. Zied, who’s recently flaunted his stunning weight loss, is seen asking Rebecca to marry him before Ramadan, as she, skeptical after her first failed marriage, questions his motives. Tarik and Hazel from Before the 90 Days' season 2, too show up the Filipina now coming out as bisexual and the American native probably looking to impress 90 Day Fiancé fans with his singing again.

Coming to the new entrants of the 90 Day Fiancé universe, there’s Brandon who met Russia’s Julia after a friend saw her at a go-go club. The chemistry between the Virginia lad who’s been working on his parents’ farm and the city girl is evident as they strip naked in the 90 Day Fiancé season 8 trailer, and soon find out they’re probably pregnant. Californian Andrew and Amira from France face issues when she’s not arrived in America even after two months of getting her visa. An elderly man advises Amira that this is “a big mistake” and the trailer ends with her being stuck in a detention center. The “always out, drunk” Jovi from Louisiana is seen sipping whiskey at 8:50 in the morning as his Ukrainian lover Yara who he met with the intention of hooking up on a travel app fears she won’t fit in his bachelor life. Lastly, as per 90 Day Fiancé tradition, there’s the May/December couple of Stephanie and Ryan. Busy bee Stephanie who’s never been in a serious relationship, calls herself a “sugar mama” for the Belize boy she’d met on the beach.

Knowing just how tumultuous the relationships of these 90 Day Fiancé couples already sound, it certainly looks like season 8 doesn’t have any dearth of disruption or drama once it arrives at TLC screens this December.
