Varya and Geoffrey shared their long-distance love story on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season four. Their story took a turn when Varya surprised Geoffrey with a visit to the States after originally turning down his proposal. At the time, she told her boyfriend she wasn't ready to get married so soon. During their time together, the two fell deeper in love and Varya had a change of heart when Geoffrey popped the big question for a second time. However, after accepting his proposal, Varya returned to Russia. Though she seemed to be in America for a short time, she never indicated if it was to spend time with Geoffrey. The TLC stars have kept much of their relationship a secret since appearing on the show.
Fans were left scratching their heads recently after Varya posted a video on Instagram wearing her engagement ring on her right hand. After one fan commented saying, “She is wearing her engagement ring from Geoffrey,” Varya replied to the fan by asking, “Are you sure?” The comment left her followers wondering if she and her 90 Day Fiancé partner are still an item. Many left comments noting that her ring was not on the traditional left ring finger. However, others noted that in Russia, engagement rings are worn on the right hand. Following their engagement, Varya returned to her radio job in Russia and Geoffrey opened up about his work as a home renovator. At the time when she initially declined his proposal, Geoffrey rebounded with close friend Mary Wallace while Varya grappled over if she made the right decision. Last week, Varya took to Instagram to celebrate the estranged couple's one-year anniversary of Varya's arrival in America. "November the 3rd. It's been a year since I popped up on his doorstep and faced my rival," she captioned a photo slide of coupled-up photos with her beau. Varya then went on to applaud herself for having the "determination and audacity the final result turned out to be just as my life had planned it to be."
Despite the celebratory post, 90 Day Fiancé fans are still confused about the TLC couples' exact relationship status. Hopefully, they return to the show in the future with an update for viewers.
