Reports state that COVID-19 stopped Georgi from Darcey & Stacey from being granted a divorce. Darcey was not thrilled with the news that her foreign love was still legally married.
The Silva twins have taken TLC fans and the world by storm. Thanks to their extreme twinning and poor choices in men, the two mothers’ have become a household name. Darcey just hit one million followers and Stacey is not far behind with her own social media. The two are currently staring in their own show where it follows their lives with their new men.
It seems stupid cupid has struck again with Darcey’s new beau, Georgi Rusev. Fans still don’t quite understand why she chose to quarantine with a man she has not known long but Darcey made the impulsive decision to rent a loft space for the two of them. Now, she may be regretting it. Check out the video below:
While the two were holding up in their love shack, the Bulgarian bodybuilder dropped a bomb on the reality star that he was still in fact married. The model told cameras that he has been separated for more than a year, but the COVID-19 outbreak put a stop to the divorce proceedings. Georgi told Darcey that the two fell in love quickly but started to fight often, in the end choosing to break up saying, “We liked each other, we dated for maybe six, seven months before I proposed. The beginning was great. Now we get to a point where we can't stand each other...We separated more than a year ago." Talking to the cameras, Georgi explained that he had been married for three years. And had met four years ago at a modeling engagement. Darcey, being Darcey, is obviously upset and feels betrayed. She can’t understand why a young man who probably wasn’t that well off didn’t immediately call a lawyer to resolve the matter. Not everyone has their dad to fall back on when times get tough. Darcey told producers in her confessional that she had kept a secret, but it started to weigh too heavily on her. The mother of two had mixed feelings about Georgi’s divorce or lack thereof.
Even though Georgi had filed for divorce before ever meeting Darcey he claims he told her when they met in Miami. Darcey on the other hand has no recollection of the conversation. TLC fans feel he is telling the truth and will hopefully get to the bottom of his divorce in the near future.
