Fans of 90 Day Fiancé would rather watch Colt Johnson on his OnlyFans page creepily stripping off his clothes than tune in to TLC's The Family Chantel.
Fans were never very fond of Chantel Everett’s family, due to how rude they were to their son-in-law, Pedro Jimeno. The family was always wary about the Dominican’s motives and made their opinions loud and clear. The TLC network decided to give the family a spin-off after a rumble during their last franchise dinner. Fans watched as both families started a war of the words and in the end loathed one another. While most reality TV is addictive, this family comes across as cringey and uncultured.
Fans have recently taken to the world wide web to let everyone, including TLC, know that they would rather subscribe to Colt’s OnlyFans page than have to watch another minute of The Family Chantel. Many fans think the show is more ridiculous than any venture Colt has launched (via Reddit). In fact, TLC fans were astonished that The Family Chantel was given a second season. Many believe it is because Pedro’s sister, Nicole, will be a staple on the show and was known for starting half the arguments. She is currently dating a man from New York City. Chantel’s older brother, who is also dating a foreigner, also will make an appearance. However, none of this is enough to hook disinterested fans. One fan wrote, "There is nothing interesting or entertaining about this family. They're trying WAY too hard." Another fan echoed a similar sentiment, saying, "Who tf asked TLC for them to have a spinoff so I can punch them?"
The concept of the show has not changed. All the fights end in Chantel collapsing into a puddle of tears on the floor. Fans made it known that TLC should have never green-lighted a second season and wonder who actually watches it. Many pointed out that they would rather be forced to watch Colt interact with his mother or dive deep into his social media accounts before having to watch any more of Chantel and Pedro.
TLC may have blown it with the newest season since the storyline is the exact same as the first season, just with two different people. Hopefully, TLC will get the message that fans are not interested in the constant belittling of Pedro and will cancel the series once and for all.
The Family Chantel airs Mondays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
