In his latest series of Twitter rants, rapper Kanye West from Keeping Up With The Kardashians described himself as the "New Moses" and said that he's refusing to release any new music.
Kanye from Keeping Up with the Kardashians has had issues with music industry bigwigs in the past. He and Jay-Z clashed over a Tidal collaboration that went wrong. He's signed many contracts over the course of his dual careers in music and fashion, including a new contract with Gap. Now, he's airing fresh grievances on his favorite sounding board, Twitter.
West tweeted. "I’m putting my life on the line for my people." "The music industry and the NBA are modern-day slave ships," he continued. "I’m the new Moses.” The storm started on Monday evening. The KUWTK star and presidential hopeful, who is married to Kim Kardashian West, tweeted requests involving his record company, Universal Music Group, and his publisher, Sony/ATV Music Publishing. “I’m not putting no more music out till I’m done with my contract with Sony and Universal,” he tweeted. “On God … in Jesus name … come and get me.” The statement was followed by an emoji of a skier. “Vivendi family I’m in Calabassas,” he added. “Come holla at me.” West, who failed to release a new album titled “Donna” earlier this summer, followed up that statement shortly after, with another tweet requesting that Drake and J. Cole (who he’s had ongoing beefs with in the past) must issue public apologies to him, and that rapper Jay-Z must schedule a meeting with him. “I need a publicly apology from J Cole and Drake to start with immediately … I’m Nat Turner … I’m fighting for us,” he tweeted. Another tweet, shown below, sums up Ye's attitude:
My kids gonna own my masters

The KUWTK celeb went on to misspell Jay-Z’s given name (aka Shawn Carter), apologizing shortly after. “I’m waiting to meet with Sean Carter also,” he also reported during another tweet, “My bad I meant Shawn … no disrespect to my big bro.” The tweetstorm continued, including a since-deleted tweet. “I’m the 2nd richest black man in America … I need all my people with me for us to get free.” West followed up the reasoning for deleting that tweet with another statement, I deleted that tweet about riches... the wealth is in our love of family and our brothers and our service to God ... let’s rise up... let’s communicate.”
West also shared a screenshot of a text message exchange between himself and an unknown source who appeared to be a lawyer, where the source appearing to be giving him legal advice on how to go after Sony and Universal, but West responded in the text, stating that he was not open to any form of business with Universal or Sony.
Kim Kardashian-West's religious husband is angry: “I need to see everybody’s contracts at Universal and Sony … I’m not gonna watch my people be enslaved." This Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has a lot to say about the music industry, not to mention his own family.
