Space Force: 10 Worst Things Erin Did | ScreenRant

The Netflix comedy Space Force follows General Naird as he attempts to run the ill-advised space branch of the United States military. But a lot of the show focuses on how he balances the high-pressure job and his home life, which includes raising his rebellious daughter, Erin.

With Naird's wife in prison, he is basically a single parent and Erin does not make it easy for him. While she is obviously dealing with her own struggles of having her life uprooted, she has proven to be quite thoughtless about all of the things her father is dealing with as well. Though she has her good moments, Erin has done a lot wrong.

10 Attempting To Throw A Party

After moving away from Washington to a much more remote town near the Space Force base, Erin struggles to make new friends. In that sense, it's nice that she attempted to make an effort to meet new people. However, throwing a party while General Naird was away for work was not a great idea.

After having a big fight with her father, Erin finds out he will be gone for a while. She takes the opportunity to plan a big party, which she announces on social media. It could have been a disaster, but luckily, since she doesn't have any friends, no one comes.

9 Dating Yuri

Though she fails to make friends at her new school, Erin does manage to get a boyfriend rather quickly. Unfortunately, that boyfriend is Yuri, a Russian officer who is observing Space Force and almost certainly spying on Naird's work.

It seems like Erin is dating Yuri for the sole purpose of making her father angry. But she also fails to see that Yuri is using her to get to her father's secrets.

8 Being Selfish About Her Parents' Relationship

It's easy to sympathize with Erin in many cases, especially with her broken home life. She misses her mother and wants things to go back to normal. However, her parents eventually come to the agreement that it's not going to return that way anytime soon and they need to move on.

Erin's mother and father decide to have an open relationship, but Erin is not having any of that. Again, her anger is understandable, but she refuses to consider what her parents are going through and unfairly punishes them for trying to be happy.

7 Ruining An Expensive Car

With his busy work life eating up so much of his time, Naird doesn't have a lot of time for Erin. As a result, she pulls increasingly immature and reckless stunts. When a tech guru comes to Space Force to help out, Erin is impressed by their fancy car.

She foolishly decides to get into the car for a closer look and, even more foolishly, brings a milkshake inside with her. In no time, she manages to spill it everywhere and decides to just leave it.

6 Running Away From Home

As with most rebellious teens looking to act out, Erin decides to run away from home. While hanging out at a gas station, she impulsively decides to get in a car with a bunch of strange guys who promise to take her to a party.

The guys drive her out to the middle of nowhere and proceed to smoke meth. Erin quickly realizes her plan has backfired and she is stranded in the middle of nowhere. She eventually has to steal a little girl's bike to escape.

5 Not Caring Her Dad Went Away On A Mission

Naird has a very taxing job and his focus is often pulled away from his daughter. But Erin also doesn't show any interest in what he is doing or offer any help.

When Naird goes to stay in a Lunar Habitat for several days, he has a miserable time. He can't sleep, his health is poor, and he's forced to eat potatoes the entire time. When the mission is over, the crew is taken back to base where they are greeted by their family members. But Naird is left alone as Erin didn't bother to come.

4 Serving Alcoholic Milkshakes

In an attempt to do something productive with her time, Erin gets a job at an ice cream stand on the base. She proves to have pretty poor customer relation skills and basically just insults everyone all the time.

When her relationship with her parents continues to deteriorate, she decides to get drunk while at work. To make matters worse, she also spikes some of the milkshakes with alcohol and sells them, which seems pretty dangerous.

3 Being Mean To Duncan

While Erin's relationship with Yuri is ill-advised, she eventually finds a new romantic interest in Duncan. He is a kind and caring soldier who works under Naird's command. He seems to really like Erin immediately, but she is quite cold to him.

Since she doesn't have any friends, it would probably be smart for Erin to be nicer to people. Instead, she insults Duncan's intelligence openly for no reason whatsoever.

2 Refusing To Clean The House

While Naird is not always the best father, he tries his best and doesn't ask too much of his daughter. But Erin feels the need to push back against everything he wants her to do. When she makes a mess at breakfast, he asks her to clean up and she rudely refuses.

When Naird leaves for his work, he leaves a note asking Erin to once again clean up. Not only does she not clean the original mess, but she also makes a much bigger mess that Naird is forced to clean once he gets home.

1 Defacing Kelly's Car

The open relationship Erin's parents agree upon is the biggest cause of anger in Erin's life. So when Naird begins dating a sweet woman named Kelly, Erin does not take it well. She becomes a lot meaner towards her father but also is quite cruel to Kelly as well.

Erin even goes so far as to deface Kelly's car on the base, painting the words "Cheater" on the side. She even cruelly laughs as she watches a humiliated Kelly try to wipe the message off.
