Justice League Snyder Cut Image Teases Wonder Woman’s Secret Life

Justice League Snyder Cut image references Wonder Woman's secret identity. The upcoming film will be director Zack Snyder's original vision, before it was changed due to reshoots. Though the Snyder Cut of Justice League won't release on HBO Max until next year, there's already quite a bit known about the movie. It will feature an expanded role for Ray Fisher's Cyborg and will also see Superman wear his black suit, a favorite from the comics. Snyder has already released several images from the film, along with a couple of video clips.

However, the director has promised even more information at this weekend's DC FanDome event, which will feature hundreds of actors, directors, and writers promoting upcoming projects. The Justice League Snyder Cut will have its own panel, lasting 25 minutes long. During it, Snyder is expected to announce the format of his cut, which will either be a feature film or miniseries. There will also be a teaser trailer released, which should give a better idea of what the cut will look like. All told, the Justice League panel is one of DC FanDome's most exciting, though the entire event will be a must-watch for fans.

To help build excitement even more, Snyder has started a countdown to DC FanDome, which takes place Saturday, August 22. Yesterday, he shared an image teasing the Hall of Justice. Today, he's back with a new one, this time referencing Wonder Woman's secret identity. In one of the trailer's neatest images, Diana cleans a statue as part of her work in the art world. However, the moment also provides a parallel to the cover of a Wonder Woman comic titled "The Girl Who Saved Paradise Island." Check out the image below:

Like Cyborg, Wonder Woman is another character whose role changed during Joss Whedon's reshoots. As such, Snyder has focused a lot on Wonder Woman while teasing his cut. The very first clip from the film showed Wonder Woman discovering an old painting of Darkseid, proving her added importance in the Snyder Cut. Additionally, in the director's original plan, Wonder Woman would have decapitated Steppenwolf, rather than destroying his ax, as she does in the theatrical version. All told, Wonder Woman is an integral part of the Snyder Cut, so it makes sense Snyder used this image to tease DC FanDome.

It will be interesting to see what else is revealed about the Snyder Cut this weekend. Since the company has never done an event like this before, it's hard to know what to expect. What's more, the Justice League panel will be different from ones for other films in the DC Extended Universe. Viewers already know everything about the original movie, as well as key details about the Snyder Cut. This means there isn't as much information to reveal as there would be with a traditional project. However, it should make for an exciting panel, especially with the teaser trailer confirmed.
