British dark dramedy Fleabag is a hilarious show that follows a young woman in her relatable personal life including her struggles as a café owner, relationship woes, and familial issues. Fleabag is known to break the fourth wall frequently as a creative way to convey its humor without ever feeling overdone or stale.

Fleabag introduces relatable and flawed characters and the hilarious and heartfelt dialogue from the creator, writer, and lead actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge is always engaging. Although the show only has two seasons and twelve episodes in total, it's become a highly popular British comedy for its creativity and balance between serious moments and hilarity.

10 Episode 1.1 - 7.9

The pilot of Fleabag introduces the audience to the character Fleabag and slowly reveals her life and personality throughout the episode and the rest of the series. The pilot mainly delves into Fleabag's romantic life with on-off boyfriend Harry and sees her interact with other potential partners as well. Her sister Claire, father, and her Godmother (Olivia Colman), who is dating her father, are also introduced and Fleabag tells the story of her recently deceased best friend.

Claire and Fleabag go to a silent female retreat, but their daily problems get in the way and they break their vow of silence throughout the episode. Fleabag runs into someone she knows at the neighboring sexual harassment seminar and Claire tells Fleabag about a possible promotion. Fleabag tries to get her sister to take the job and convince her that she can do better than her husband Martin.

8 Episode 1.5 - 8.4

Fleabag and Claire go to have lunch with their father on the anniversary of their mother's death. Their manipulative Godmother makes the day about her by announcing her upcoming art exhibit, which annoys both Fleabag and Claire. Taking Claire's advice, Fleabag returns their step-mother's statue, but after her behavior at the lunch, Claire decides to steal it again to get back at her.

7 Episode 2.2 - 8.5

Fleabag's café has finally turned into a thriving business and she's happy to be busy and Claire is surprised that she was telling the truth about her success. Claire tells Fleabag that Martin intends to press charges after she assaulted him at their dinner party.

Fleabag also decides to see a therapist after her father gave her a coupon for a free session. The therapist helps her realize her feelings for the Priest so she attempts to further their relationship by volunteering to help at a church function.

6 Episode 2.5 - 8.8

The Priest tries to distance himself from Fleabag because he is afraid to be too close to her and control his feelings for her. He tells the family he can't officiate their father and Godmother's wedding and tells Fleabag to never come back to see him, but their separation doesn't last for long. Claire is upset and regrets her new haircut and calls Fleabag for help, but the only thing that helps her is the approval of a male colleague she has a crush on, who is also called Klare.

5 Episode 1.6 - 8.9

The finale of the first season sees all the characters go to Godmother's art exhibit, which she calls a "sex-hibition" and proceeds to treat Fleabag horribly at the event. Claire has decided to believe Martin over Fleabag and decides to stay in the marriage instead of taking her promotion. This episode sees Fleabag at one of her lowest points, but at the end of the episode, there is still hope.

4 Episode 2.3 - 9.0

Kristin Scott Thomas guest stars in this episode that sees Claire have to put together an award ceremony and decides to get Fleabag to cater the event. Godmother's statue from season one makes another appearance in the episode as Fleabag as to improvise and find an award statue. Fleabag continues to try to flirt with the Priest and he is hilariously the first to notice her fourth wall breaks.

3 Episode 2.4 - 9.0

Fleabag and the Priest have a fun day together and both enjoy each other's company on their day out on the town. Fleabag remembers the painful day of her mother's funeral and there are flashbacks to the funeral.

Fleabag visits the Priest again that night and finds him drunk and the two wonder if they should continue their relationship.

2 Episode 2.1 - 9.3

The first episode of the second season sees Fleabag going to dinner with her family after not seeing them for a year. Dad and Godmother are engaged and Andrew Scott is introduced as the Priest who will be officiating their wedding. Fleabag is immediately intrigued by the Priest and his unconventional demeanor, but she has more pressing issues when Claire has a medical issue that she refuses to tell everyone because she doesn't want to interrupt the dinner. Fleabag and Martin get into an argument that leads to an altercation.

1 Episode 2.6 - 9.4

The finale of the series ties up each character's stories as Dad and Godmother are finally married. Claire makes her decision about whether to stay with Martin or leave him and the toxic marriage and maybe start a relationship with her co-worker Klare. Fleabag and the Priest reckon with their relationship that interferes with his faith.
