A new audience will be able to experience the free-to-play battle royale, Apex Legends, when it arrives on Steam and the Nintendo Switch this fall. Cross-play between all platforms will also launch - as rumored - alongside the inclusion of new platforms. Regardless of whether the game is played on the PlayStation 4, PC, or the Nintendo Switch, developer Respawn is working to bridge the gap between players allowing all gamers to play together.
Apex Legends coming to the Switch and Steam was announced during the EA Play live event. A new limited-time event was also announced during the event which features the return of a fan-favorite game mode and event-exclusive cosmetics that are earned by participating in the event.
