Kim is the toughest girl at William McKinley High School. A typical Taurus, Kim is as passionate as she is private. She has a tumultuous relationship with Daniel, often getting into fights with him, but making up soon after.
While she initially despises Lindsay, she slowly opens up to her over time. Kim has a difficult home life, having to deal with the emotional abuse from her mother and stepfather, but her resilience keeps her going through all her difficult moments.
10 Gemini - Lindsay Weir
Lindsay Weir is the star of the show. She is a smart student and one of the top Mathletes at the school. However, she becomes an atheist after the death of her grandmother and begins to reject the notion of religion and morality.

Harold is Lindsay and Sam's dad, a very traditional guy who finds it difficult to accept the new cultural worldview of his kids. He tries his best to instill discipline in his children, but at the same time always considers their needs before his own.

8 Leo - Neil Schweiber
Neil is the gutsiest of the Geeks, often facing bullies head-on with his hilarious one-liners (often with disastrous results). He is an ideal Leo because he loves to argue and debate everything under the sun, having a limitless amount of energy.
Neil loves being the center of attention, stating that his ambition is to become a stand-up comedian. His Leo-esque confidence allows him to discuss any topic, whether he has any knowledge of it or not.
7 Virgo - Bill Haverchuck
Bill is the least social of the Geeks. He tends to wear the strangest outfits and has an obsessive love for Dallas, a soap opera mostly watched by housewives. However, he is most certainly a Virgo, given that he is extremely hard-working when it comes to academic projects.
Bill does not show any athletic ability, but is one of the kindest characters on the show, as he is always ready to help his friends when they are in trouble.
6 Libra - Jean Weir
Jean is Lindsay and Sam's mom and is the comforting force in the household which plays a balancing role in Harold's strictness. She helps her kids with schoolwork, often giving important advice about how to deal with problems like bullies.
While she is occasionally unaware of the problems of school life, she is never without a kind word, characteristics shared by all Libras, showing in many ways how much she cares for her family.
5 Scorpio - Daniel Desario
Scorpios are known to have intense personalities; they ooze confidence without even trying. Daniel Desario is the only character in Freaks and Geeks who fits these attributes. He always does poorly at school, which makes his teachers and his mom lose respect for him.
However, he has a strong nature, refusing to be intimidated by his failures. Daniel has a quirky sense of humor, often saying or doing things nobody else has the courage to say or do.
4 Sagittarius - Cindy Sanders
Cindy begins her role as the object of adoration for Sam Weir, being depicted as a popular cheerleader. Cindy may, at times, be a bit rude and arrogant, although, due to her Sagittarius nature, she holds her ground, refusing to compromise her principles for anyone.

2 Aquarius - Nick Andopolis
Nick is the most artistic Freak. He loves music more than anything else in the world, idolizing hard rock drummers like John Bonham and Neil Peart. Aquarius like Nick tend to have an easygoing approach towards life; stress is something that happens to them but doesn't affect them deeply.
He wants to be a professional drummer, practicing day and night in his father's basement, which inevitably leads to friction between them. However, he is determined to follow his dreams, even when his father kicks him out of the house for refusing to give up his passion.
1 Pisces - Ken Miller
Ken is the funniest member of the Freaks, although his humor can be more on the deadpan side. He is the essence of Pisces, in that his biting sarcasm and refusal to back down from a fight are merely masks to hide his tender nature.
This is shown when he falls in love with Amy "Tuba Girl" Andrews, who is the only person on the show who can match his cool comebacks without breaking a sweat.
