Real Housewives of Orange County's Vicki has bought a house in Mexico during the quarantine. Fans found out via social media that Vicki traveled to Mexico amid a worldwide pandemic to buy her retirement home.
As the OG of the OC, Vicki Gunvalson is not a stranger to controversy. The spectacle is what kept her on Real Housewives of Orange County. Until the unfortunate time she got demoted, and then, all hell broke loose as she decided to leave the show. Even though the mother of two may have put down her orange she is still finding herself in the headlines. For the good and the bad.
In an Instagram post earlier this week, Gunvalson dropped the bombshell that she had brought her dream retirement home in Puerta Vallarta during the worldwide pandemic. She revealed to fans that after spending 30 years visiting one of her favorite places in the world that she had officially closed on her new vacation home. She explained to fans how proud she was of herself. The housewife has many fond memories in Mexico where the Bravo cameras caught her multiple times as she whooped it up on the bar tops with her girlfriends.
The OG did acknowledge that some followers may believe it was wrong to travel and purchase a new home while so many are suffering around the world due to the coronavirus but for her, the purchase gave her hope. Gunvalson explained that she hopes life will go back to normal soon. The Coto Insurance founder divulged that she would be giving all the bedding and furniture to a nearby orphanage. She will also be hiring local painters and a decorator. The reality star gave a short tour that showed her jacuzzi tub overlooking the crystal clear, blue waters. The home looked up to date with all the fixtures as she also had a walk-in shower in her master bedroom. The three-bedroom, two-bath looked like it would be perfect for her children and grandchildren to visit as well.
While the reality star decided to make this announcement, she also asked that if there were haters reading the post that they just keep their opinions to themselves. The post looked to only have positive comments which made fans think she had already been deleting any negative ones which came her way. Since leaving the show, Gunvalson seems to be doing very well for herself. She did have an unfortunate misstep when she took to social media to demand that the lockdown be over in May as she wanted to get her nails and hair done.
