As the resident fashionista on Pretty Little Liars, Hanna Marin showed off some incredible outfits to her fellow characters and the show’s fans. Most of her clothing items were trendy and glamorous pieces, and she completed each ensemble with the perfect finishing touches; there were designer bags and shoes, there were cute pieces of jewelry, and there were attractive makeup looks and hairstyles.
There were messy ‘dos and unflattering bangs, but there were also funky braids, awesome waves, and beautiful moments that showed off her golden locks!
10 Messy Prison Ponytails & Buns
Being tormented by A, getting arrested, ending up in a dollhouse of horrors… These girls certainly hit some rough times within this story. During their lowest lows, they were not worried about how they looked and how their hair was styled, which led to messy looks like these.
While Hanna put some cute ponytails and buns together over the years, the ones shown here were not part of that. It was understandable, though, given the circumstances.
9 A Short Style With Long Bangs
A couple of times, Han cut her hair short. Any length looked great on her, but long hair definitely suited her better. Plus, one of her short cuts came with these longer bangs, which fell flat. It was not the worst hairdo in the world, but it certainly was not this girl’s best.
8 Down & Unstyled
At times, people wear natural, unstyled looks, though that was not normal for Han; she enjoyed fashion magazines, shopping and showing up everywhere like she was ready to step on a runway. That being said, this boring look that was not styled at all was not very flattering.
Plus, she was wearing a hoodie! She must have been chilling at home or having a rough day.
7 A Dated, Short ‘Do
Another shorter length Hanna had came with these dated side-swept bangs and chunky highlights. It may have been all the rage back in the day, but now, it gives off a may-I-speak-to-the-manager vibe.
While so many different looks were seen on this character, the styles that were long and wavy and fixed definitely were the best.
6 Formal, Short & Wavy
Another hairstyle that wasn't so great was seen at the prom in the dollhouse. Charles picked out the girls’ dresses, and they may not have had much of a say in what their hair and makeup looked like that evening.
While Hanna’s short and wavy hair was, again, not the worst thing ever, it still has landed on the negative side of things.
5 Black Streaks
When Ali returned to Rosewood, Hanna was more aware than ever of the negative influence this "It" girl had on people, and she wanted nothing to do with her. She started dressing in a grungier way, she started drinking a lot more, and she added black streaks to her hair.
While this was not a shining time for Han, these streaks were pretty cool. And since Hanna could have an I-don’t-care attitude anyways, they fit her well. Not everyone may have loved them, but they are sitting on the positive side of this list.
4 A Messy Braid
Several braids were featured on this teen drama, including this messy one. It was perfectly imperfect, and it kept hair out of Hanna’s face, while still looking cute, youthful, and casual.
Whether it started out sleek and slowly got messy or whether Hanna spent hours making it intentionally look this way, it was a win.
3 Beachy Waves
Hanna’s hair had some natural curl and waves to it, but she was known for mixing it up daily. She straightened it at times, added some bigger curls, and sometimes even went for scrunched-up waves during other moments.
They had a very beachy feel to them, they echoed Han’s spunky and bubbly personality well, and they felt fun and flirty.
2 A Braided Headband
Up next is yet another braid, and this time, it acted as a headband. During the girls’ last prom, there was a fairy tale theme, and Han wore a white and gold gown. She completed it with a braid that wrapped around her head, looking magical and magnificent.
The dramatic makeup, the pieces falling down around her pretty face, the golden jewelry... This was one of this character's most memorable fashion scenes.
1 Long & Curled
Last but not least, there were the times that Han just wore her hair down, with some curl, in a long and flattering way. This was especially seen right at the beginning when she was ruling the school with Mona, and right at the end, when her hair seemed to be longer than ever.
She had this thick, healthy, blonde head of hair, and she had a very glam way of dressing. Therefore, when her hair was worn like this, it felt familiar and successful.
