The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® has become a well-known way for people to look at personalities. The ENTP or "the enterprising explorer" will fix a problem and can always see things from a different and more unique perspective. These are people that can be relied upon to work hard but when they experience a time of stress, they feel things super deeply and tend to isolate.
When this type is ready for a Netflix binge, what should they choose? And what would they turn off? Here are five Netflix original series that ENTPs will love and five that they'll hate.
10 Love: Greenhouse Academy
Debating is one thing that an ENTP loves to do. This type would love the Netflix original Greenhouse Academy, which has four seasons. ENTPs will love character Haley Woods (Ariel Mortman), who starts going to a fancy, elite school with her brother Alex (Finn Roberts).
Haley doesn't mince words and she is always up for a challenge. At first, she's not so sure about the school, and she speaks her mind about it. Since ENTPs love when they can talk to someone and have differing opinions, they will really see themselves in Haley.
9 Hate: GLOW
GLOW is a very popular series on Netflix and tells the story of female wrestling, but it's not something that an ENTP will want to watch. The two main characters, Ruth (Alison Brie) and Debbie (Betty Gilpin) are former best friends who start fighting because Ruth sleeps with Debbie's husband.
ENTPs would hate this aspect of the show because they don't want people to dwell on the thing that are going wrong in their personal lives. They want people to work hard and they like fixing things that go wrong.
8 Love: The Politician
Payton Hobart (Ben Platt) wants to be president, but he'll settle for president of his school first. According to the official MBTI® website, politics is one career path that suit ENTPs, making The Politician a very compelling series for them to watch.
In true Ryan Murphy style, this series is full of wit and surprises, with the campy tone that he is known for. ENTPs aren't shy about going after what they want or taking action, which is exactly what Payton does here.
7 Hate: Love
Love tells the story of Gus (Paul Rust) and Mickey (Gillian Jacobs), who have fallen for each other but need to work out their own issues before actually committing to a serious relationship.
ENTPs don't like when people put too much focus on what's going on in their non-work lives as that doesn't seem important to them. They would definitely find it tough to like this show.
6 Love: Grace And Frankie
Grace And Frankie is a charming look at two women whose lives take an unexpected turn. Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin) learn that their husbands have been having an affair, and are now leaving them for each other. They women to live at their joint summer home, which is tough since they're polar opposites.
This is a show with whip-smart, funny dialogue, making it perfect for ENTPs who don't want discussions to be superficial.
5 Hate: Fuller House
Like the original series that came before it, Fuller House is full of corny dialogue and the characters don't get all that deep with one another.
This is a Netflix original that ENTPs would hate since they're going to be looking for intelligent conversations, people who motivate each other to dream big, and independent characters.
4 Love: Love Is Blind
Love Is Blind is one of Netflix's most fascinating and fun reality shows, generating instant water-cooler buzz as soon as it premiered. The hit show led to some truly funny memes and social media posts. ENTPs would really get into this series because "their conversational style is challenging," as the official website explains.
The contestants meet via pods and start talking to each other, and they continue to break down each other's walls and get to know each other once they meet in person. ENTPs will love the "experiment" of this dating show, and they'll like that the contestants don't shy away from telling each other how they really feel.
3 Hate: The Circle
ENTPs want people to sit down with each other and have an actual, intelligent, real conversation. They love debate and helping people work as hard as they do.
So, it's fair to say that ENTPs will hate The Circle. This show features contestants who chat through an app and can opt to catfish someone. This isn't something that this personality type would agree with; they wouldn't see the point of this show.
2 Love: Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
When it comes to smart dialogue, does it get much better than a Tina Fey show? That's definitely a rhetorical question.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is a perfect Netflix original series for ENTP. They will feel like they're watching people debate each other in every episode, and they'll crack up every time Kimmy says something unintentionally hilarious.
1 Hate: YOU
Since ENTPs don't like thinking about problems all the time, they're not going to watch a show that is all about the issues that people have with their love lives. YOU may be a massive hit on Netflix, but it won't go over well with this personality type.
ENTPs would wonder why Joe (Penn Badgley) is wasting his potential and they would want him to stop hurting others, focus on his work life, and become a better person.
