Dog the Bounty Hunter Gets Engaged Not Even a Year after Wife's Death

Dog the Bounty Hunter announces he has gotten engaged to a new woman, not even a year after his late wife's death. The bounty hunter has been raising eyebrows with his questionable choice in women but fans are hoping that this one sticks.

Dog and his family learned his treasured wife Beth was first diagnosed with throat cancer back in 2017 but soon after was told that it had entered remission. Unfortunately, only a year later she was told her cancer had returned and had now spread to her lungs. The popular reality star only went through one round of chemotherapy before announcing she would not seek further treatment. Beth died from complications from her stage II throat cancer at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. She was only 51. The bounty hunting duo had been married since May 2006.

Since the sad departure of Beth, Dog has been in and out of the tabloids thanks to his ways with women. Most recently, he professed his love via his social media for his friend, Francie Frane who is a Colorado rancher that he as grown close to. The two are both devout in their religion and found a strong bond together, even in the face of adversity.

Now, E! is reporting that after only ten months of his wife being in the grave, he is once again engaged. The good news was confirmed by the bounty hunter’s rep that the couple will indeed be tying the knot. According to the couple, they are very much looking forward to sharing a long life together. According to Dog, he would like to have a rather large celebration with friends and family. According to Frane, the TV star dropped down to one knee and had candles lit all around them for added ambiance.

The reality star had sparked engagement rumors this year with Moon Angell back in February while the pair were taping the Dr. Oz show. Fans were outraged as they felt he was disrespecting the memory of his late wife since Angell was a bridesmaid at their wedding. While followers of Dog are aware that he had been struggling with his tremendous loss, they never thought he would date her best friend as the news instantly upset their children and sparked arguing throughout the family.  But now it would seem that he has found a new leading lady and is committed to making their relationship work.
