10 Movie Characters It Would Be Cool To See John Wick Fight

In a short period of time, John Wick has become a legendary action movie character. The first movie featured him only came out in 2014 but fans already have two sequels, a fourth on the way, a spin-off movie being planned and a prequel series in the future.

John has taken on many opponents, killing them with bullets, blades, books, and pencils. He is a verifiable killing machine, but one can't help but wonder how he would stack up against other movie characters.

10 Smith (Shoot 'Em Up)

As the anti-hero of the highly underrated 2007 action film Shoot 'Em Up, Smith shoots a lot of people. His goal was to protect a baby he just met from villains he didn't really know. But Smith seems like the kind of guy who doesn't need too much of a reason to put his skills to good use.

Little is revealed about him, and what is known is suspect at best. Smith would make an incredible opponent for Wick as they are both highly trained in the ways of the gun.

9 Léon Montana (Léon the Professional)

Even the most hardened assassin has a weak spot. In the case of Léon from Luc Besson's Léon the Professional, he makes an exception for a young girl played by Natalie Portman in need of protection from crooked law enforcement.

Seeking revenge for the murder of her family, Léon agrees to train Portman's character in his line of work. Léon is an incredibly talented assassin and more than a match for someone the caliber of John Wick.

8 Cataleya (Columbiana)

Keeping in mind that the characters are completely different people, Columbiana almost tells the story of Natalie Portman's character from Léon when she grows up. Cataleya's parents were killed by a cartel when she was young.

After escaping to America, her uncle trains her to become an assassin, formidable skills she uses to seek her revenge. If her next assignment is to take out John Wick, he had better be careful.

7 Machete (Machete)

Isador Cortez, aka Machete, is about as bad an SOB as you're gonna find anywhere. First appearing in the Spy Kids movies, Machete eventually got his own films that had a decidedly different tone to them.

Machete is a former Mexican Federale who prefers to use a machete to a gun, though he is quite effective with firearms, too. Really, he can make good use out of anything that can kill someone. Machete's skill set is quite different from John Wick's but no less effective or deadly.

6 John Lee (The Replacement Killers)

If there was ever a master of the fine movie art of "gun-fu," it's John Lee from The Replacement Killers. An assassin for the Triads, he refuses his last assignment as he does not want to murder the young child of an American police officer.

Lee survives the Triad onslaught sent after him with the help of a local forger and his own incredible skills. A battle between the two John's would be unbelievably epic.

5 Sarah Connor (Terminator Franchise)

Sarah Connor's preparation for war started out when her simple life was uprooted by a time-traveling robot. While she lacked formal training, she did find ways to gain skills, experience, and enough weaponry to wage a war.

Wick would have been an excellent asset to her cause, though a battle between them would be epic. She might not have his training but the strength of her will cannot be denied.

4 El Mariachi (The Mexico Trilogy)

Never argue with a man carrying a guitar case full of guns. Many people in the world of El Mariachi have made that mistake and have not lived to talk about it. Fueled by vengeance, Manito, aka El Mariachi, traveled across Mexico, searching for the man who killed the woman he loved.

While he isn't the legendary assassin John Wick is, El Mariachi is still a legend in his own way. He might carry his weapons in a guitar case but that doesn't make them any less effective or Manito any less skilled.

3 Frank Martin (The Transporter Franchise)

The Transporter has a few rules that are key in his line of work. For Frank Martin, being a driver for whoever hires him requires a series of specifications to be met.

Breaking those specifications or the rules that maintain them causes problems, and Frank is often a man with a lot of problems.  But he is also an incredibly well-trained fighter with vast combat experience. A fight with him would be rough for John Wick.

2 The Bride (Kill Bill)

If The Bride can take on the Crazy 88 and come out on top, John Wick had better come to this fight ready to play. After being attacked by her former allies and spending years in a coma, The Bride woke up with a taste for vengeance against everyone who had wronged her.

She is a fighter, an absolute master with a sword in her hand. As long as John Wick stays on her good side, there shouldn't be a problem. But if they did cross paths, the resulting fight would be nothing short of epic.

1 Predator (Predator Franchise)

For years, humanity has had to deal with an extraterrestrial race of alien trophy hunters known as Predators. They seek out the strongest, most deadly targets to test themselves against. John Wick sounds like a prime target for them.

If a Predator came to Earth to hunt John Wick, it would not be a smooth mission. John would put up one hell of a fight. In turn, Mr. Wick has never experienced anything like a Predator before. But John Wick is nothing if not adaptable.
