Big Brother 22: What Happened to Tyler Crispen After Season 20

Season 20 of Big Brother remains one of the more popular seasons of Big Brother, and for good reason. After a string of lackluster seasons, the show's 20th season offered viewers a cast full of intense gamers and hilarious personalities. And while he may have only finished as runner-up, Tyler Crispen established himself as one of the better strategists in Big Brother history, controlling the house throughout the season. Tyler's strategic dominance ultimately rubbed his competitors the wrong way, and cost him a victory. Now, as Tyler prepares for a return to the Big Brother house, it's time to catch up with the 25-year-old and see what he's been up to since playing Big Brother for the first time.

In addition to his strategic prowess, Tyler's time in the Big Brother house was largely defined by his showmance with Angela Rummans. Fortunately, the couple is still going strong! While some fans feel as if Tyler let his foot off the gas as he fell deeper in love with Angela during Big Brother 20, the Hilton Head, SC native likely wouldn't complain. "Tangela" even started their own jewelry and accessory brand together called Naut & Chain, supporting numerous charities in the process.

Fans can follow Tyler's Instagram, where he documents his and Angela's global travels. Of course, the COVID-19 pandemic has put those travels on hold, but that hasn't stopped the couple from sharing their lives with Big Brother fans, as they continue to provide content on their popular YouTube channel as well. Tyler has even made a point as of late to use his platform to promote the important work of the Black Lives Matter movement and help combat racial injustice.

Tyler's loss in Big Brother 20 to Kaycee Clark remains one of the more controversial ones in the show's history. Therefore, his involvement with Big Brother: All Stars carries immense promise. Out of every contestant, Tyler just might have the most to prove this season, as he sets out to show that his first performance was no fluke. And as much as he'll miss Angela, playing Big Brother without her might be exactly what Tyler needs for a first-place finish. Of course, he will likely enter the house with a huge target on his back, considering his prior success on the show.

Tyler will be one of the more recent players to return to the Big Brother house, but also one of the more popular players as well. However, Tyler's laid-back personality and friendly persona were ultimately perceived as disingenuous by the jury, so he may have to mix things up if he wants to find success in his second attempt at winning Big Brother. Perhaps one of the most beloved strategists of all time will learn to play like a villain, or maybe he really is just that likable.
